Her body lay across the counter in a pained, perfect angle.
Her flawless black hair rested behind her as she rested her beautiful face on her arm, her hand dangling off the counter.
The beautiful face was focused on what rested in her other hand. The bottle of Stolichnaya glistened in the sunlight,
Just like the tears that streaked the face where the sunlight rested.
It was a nearly empty bottle, but she loved the way the sun would burn her eyes as it cast through the glass.
Those dazzling blue eyes wanted to close and drift off to be with the one that was gone.
She didn't remember the last time that she even blinked.
She did though that she hated missing him.
How long before he would return? Her lips met the bottle's. The colorless, warm liquid sliding down her throat.
What if he never came back? A longer drink from the Russian vodka made her wince aloud.
Does he remember her? She drained the bottle. Not a single drop landed on the counter that her numbed body lay across.
She held the empty bottle of Russia's finest in her hand,
wondering how she could still hurt after downing the entire bottle.
Sure it had taken her four hours to do it, but she did it.
Her blue eyes glanced past the bottle and at the clock on the stove. It was only 3:00 AM.
If she had had the strength, the hand that held the bottle would have thrown it at the blinking green numbers.
She moaned in disgust as she finally shut those pretty blue eyes.
This was only Day One.
