I don't knoooow. This battle would probably never ever be possible but I REALLY WANT ONE OKAY I LOVE CHARA AND I WANT FRISK + THE PLAYER TO TEAM UP AND FIGHT BACKI've been wanting to do this for a while but I don't think I can do it much justice >:Y But it's so much fun to try and create anyway. Here's a little snippet of what I've done so far. I haven't got much experience with Flash so it ain't the best! There's some out of place sounds (the text beeps, mostly) and jaggy movements here and there but it is a WIP I guess
I'm gonna alter the dialogue a little bit later because I know it's awkward and a bit stiff - definitely something I gotta work on, haa. Might work on the battle sprite, too. It's been bugging me a little.

I don't know how flash animations work, but is it possible to view this frame by frame? I am in the process of making a Chara boss fight using Unitale with my own little interpretations of them, and I am looking for some kind of reference for making an a "slash" attack a lot like what you use here. I wouldn't be copying it, just kind of seeing how to give the visual effect you have here.
Edit: I actually might have just figured out how to do it frame by frame. Never mind.

This is really good! I actually really like how you interpreted Chara. Honestly I like it better than any other "Chara fight" I have seen so far.

I must say, this looks really amazing for a fanimation of this game. Shouldn't have come as a surprise to me. It was you who made it after all.
I can't wait to see what kind of stuff you could add to this, which does NOT mean that you should rush. Take your time.
The only thing that struck me as kind of odd is that Frisk's max HP goes down with their current HP. Only thought I should point that out before the complete version is finished.
Unless it was your intent, of course.

The max HP decreasing is intentional for sure c; Red attacks reduce max HP by 5, while knives reduce max HP by 2. I dunno if I'll end up changing that, though.

It makes more sense now. Stamina gone in one instant can't be recovered quick enough, right? That's my 'theory'.

That, and a slash from another human isn't gonna really be healed with a glamburger. d: Since monsters are mostly magic and all, attacks can be recovered from pretty quickly, but against other humans (Chara, especially), it's different. Damage is much more permanent. Gotta be careful with Frisk, they're the only other option if you want to win! Wonder how they feel about that though, ahahh

About Frisk's feelings: I think that the player's emotions are supposed to be theirs as well.

The animation really looks like something that could be in the real game and the music is great!
btw, I couldn't help but notice, Chara's attack reduces Frisk's Maximum HP as well! Does that mean healing isn't possible?
