I was going to submit a Mercedes thing, but I messed it up. I will try again!
I the meantime, I decided to take a look at my gallery and redraw an older character.

Agnese Karavir is someone I have been meaning to draw again for a while, and her species is a topic I wanna get in on eventually as well! I got sketches, boy do I got sketches. I drew her previously here: Union Mk:1
I like to think I've gotten a little better, at least! I gave her a similar uniform to another character I have been meaning to redo: Major General Seliah Dominic

I think I might have made her eyes too big, now that I think of it.

Karavir is the Captain of Bernstein Company of the Imperial Army. She is known for being meticulous and inventive, and her tactical sense have seen her men through many difficult situations.
Professional and proper, Karavir has no sense of humour whatsoever, nor does she have any friends.
She is not heartless, however. Never open fire at civilians. Always allow the enemy to surrender, and don't shoot them if they do. Prisoners should be treated fairly.
Basic chivalry stuff.

Karavir is the only Skith in the Imperial Military. The vast majority are Human.
She detests her own kind, and sees them as good-for-nothing parasites. They are not "her people", and she will do anything to prove that she is better than them.
I have drawn Skith several times before: Just passing through and Drinking Problem

To her superiors, she is "Captain Karavir", and to her men she is "Sir". Other than that, she does not generally care if people refer to her as male or female.
Skith change sex every seven months, with very few signs as to what they may currently be.
Generally, a slightly deeper voice and increased aggression and sex drive means one is male, with a swollen abdomen (due to eggs) and lighter voice signifying a female.

Skith are cold-blooded, so Karavir carries with her what is essentially a tiny radiator. She also uses copious amounts of skin-moistening cream, to prevent her skin from being damaged in dry climates.
