Description MORE LIKE OWWWW TIME!

The Vore-o-fields

My side of an Art Trade with !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's his characters Lolo and Holly from his series Chlorofields doing what they love most, feasting upon the creepiest of crawlies! Yes they're bug lovers but not in the way I am, if anything I'd go in a psycho rage if I were to witness such a slaughter as this. You might be wondering why those bugs look so not, bug, like HAHAHAHA and that's a good question, I think I failed in what I set out to do.

I decided to go one step beyond just drawing bugs for them to be eating and tried turning other Chlorofield characters into insects, emulating the Bugs Hangover style of mine some of you might recall but probably don't, it didn't really work, A Bug's Hangover is really way too simplistic to make characters from other series match them and still resemble an insect. It really worked good with Skid in the front turning into a Mantis, but ironically he reeeally reminds me of the villain I made back in middle school for Bugs in this state HAHA. Mellalu is the only one that actually worked good, I turned her into a Moth, too bad she practically blends in with the leaves. The other ones are supposed to be Creth as a WOLF SPIDER and Scarlett as.... I dunno, beetle, roach, you can hardly see her what does it matter HAHAHAHA and Super as some sort of flying critter, I bet he's an iridescent beetle that glistens like a rainbow.

Here's his side!!! More bug stuff AND MORE HOLLY It's my mutant babe Molly takin' to the skies with his Holly to kick some butt!

Your art is spectacular, and this is no exception. your balance of anime and western cartoon and even the coloring is simply blended so well. the expressions on the kids' faces are funny as well.

Thank you so much as always my friend. It really is funny that you're the first person to comment on an aspect of anime influence in my art and style, I've always thought it was really prevalent but no one else seems to think that.

...And thus an entire ecosystem was destroyed, and a dang good lunch was had, too.

What an interesting spectrum of insect life. Such diversity! I didn't think you could even find mantises in this area. And look, many of them are wearing clothes! This could be a groundbreaking entomological discorver/CRUNCH/

Mantids, MANTIDS YOU FOOL HOW MANY PEOPLE MUST I CORRECT ON THIS MATTER, you are all such idiotses's nobody knows how to make things plural properly!!!!!!! Hey, yanno, they may have screwed up such an amazing biological discovery but they at least made a groundbreaking CULINARY DISCOVERY!

Yanno what's funny, you'd be surprised how many new species we discover EVERY YEAR on Earth by looking in foreign food markets and butcher shops, I'm serious look it up it's pretty common a place haha!

And here I thought you were just correcting people on the whole "actually a mantis -vs- just looks like a mantis" thing. Whups.
Are tiny insect shirts edible?

That is rather interesting.
I've always remembered a few tidbits about rainforests, and how humanity is not even CLOSE to identifying all the little life forms scurrying around in them.
Of course, there's a few obvious reasons for this, like
-Fuck that, i'm not crawling around in a rainforst. YOU go bushwhacking in an incredibly dangerous jungle teeming with poisonous plants, dangerous animals and all sorts of lovely parasites.
-The life cycle of small things is also pretty friggin' small- by the time you finished cataloging all the creatures that currently exist in the rainforest, there'd probably be a whole new set that evolved to avoid the researchers that keep barging in and grabbing 'samples' that are never heard from again.
-How would you even know if you found them all? Cripes, there's a lot of bugs in a rainforest...

See this is why I knew you were the man to ask for this xDD
The scene is both hilarious and horrific at the same time!

The buggifications was such a clever idea! Oh my glob!
I wanna draw Mothallu so bad now! And Skid! Man he looks so frickin' cool as a mantis.
(Mantids are my favorite bugs. Did you know they're related to roaches? I discovered that on my own one night when I saw a biggun on my bathroom wall and decided to examine it before taking *cough* drastic measures =3= )

Man but I am just loving that perspective. Its so dramatic and -lol- scary because it kinda puts you on the bugs' level.
And everyone's expressions! Lolo looks all feeding frenzy and Holly's cute little smile x3
And Skid again! His pose! (Lol! And Morode hiding out down there oh glob! That's actually, so like him xDDDDDD)

Man I just love this so much. Let's trade again someday C:

And I'm sorry, it must've been hard for you to draw this <:/
Poor buggies :c

I think those are my favorite things to draw are horrific scenes of violence handled with carefree cuteness! There's so many of the Monster Girls that I have done that with, I want to get to those ones already so bad HAHA

Yeah I really liked the idea of turning them into bugs I just wish the outcome was a bit better, I really love the Melamoth though you really should draw her cause she really did turn out precious haha! It fits for a fuzzy thing to be another fuzzy thing. Skid made me laugh because in his mantis form he reminds me a lot of the villain I had made for my Bugs series many years ago, same pose, same body structure, same purple robe akldsfmldskf Roaches are related to Mantids from what I recall but I thinkit's a very distant heritage, like so distantly connected evolutionarily that it's akin to saying we're related to, like, I guess a pig or something HASDAS god I love roaches they're so darn cute how could you freaking kill one!!

It wouldn't work if I drew this in any other perspective, it makes Holly scary to look at honestly even though she seems more level-headed here I think she looks more frightening than Lolo! I love how Morode I just, shrunk, I couldn't think of any possible way or species of bug to turn him into pfft.

I'm glad you like it! We need to!

Thank you!! I tried to do them in the style of a really old comic book series I have about Bugs, but it really didn't work out good cause the style of those comics is SO simple that it's hard to really make them look like other characters!!
