This is my entry for the "Clocks" Contest being hosted by manipulatethis.deviantart.com/…It is a level 2 entry (unless the judges feel the need to assign me a new level)
I made this in gimp over about 3 days and I am quite happy with how it came out. When ever I think of old clock faces it reminds me of Alice in Wonderland for some reason...probably because of the white rabbit...I'm late! lol

I know what you mean about finding the right image in 3D. But, this is why I call them "challenges". I don't want to make it that easy when I change the themes each month!
Anyway, good luck. You may have to adjust your idea a bit to make this one work, instead of giving up on it.

This is without a doubt the best deviation you've created for #ManipulateThis . Wait, I should say the best in your gallery. However, you haven't been participating at this level of commitment for very long. I'm not going to move you up a level until I feel you're really serious about photomanipulation and can execute this same quality of work on a regular basis.

thanks, I worked quite hard on this submission and I think it came out so well because of the subject, I am in looove with Alice in Wonderland and was not happy with the manip until it was just right. Also I looked up a few new techniques and watched some youtube videos on how to improve and lighting etc, I think participating in these contests have made me want to learn some new things where as I only was playing around with it before. Thanks and hopefully I can keep up the improvements
