Description 1) Rossetian: They have a physique that allows them to easily fold up all their limbs into a classic loaf posture (their tails aren’t quite flexible enough to be bent underneath themselves, though). This is a natural, comfy position for them!
2) Kixeli: They’re like the opposite of a frog despite their amphibian characteristics, with arms *much* longer than their legs. They can squish everything together very easily, though, and can even curve in their neck very close to their body too. They often do this exact posture to sleep or just to hang out sometimes.
3) Dorest: This subclass of Cerest is actually very good at folding in their very long legs (the parts of them that are supported by exoskeleton are surrounded by softer scales.) They can stay like this for a while, though it’s not really a preferred position and looks kind of silly.
4) Prectikar: Large and fairly loafish. Their loose joints make it pretty easy for them to twist their limbs underneath themselves. The range of motion of their neck and their short legs also help them achieve a recognizable loaf posture. However, it’s still as awkward for them as doing this is for a human and not something they’d ever really do on purpose.
5) Rox beat humans only because their digitigrade legs can be folded more comfortably and they’ve got flexible shoulders and neck that allow their head to be held more upright. Otherwise, they have similar proportions that make it harder to hold a loaf position like this. They’re also primarily bipedal, and being in an awkward prone position like this is more stressful for them as the more combat-oriented subclass.
6) Human : hey, that’s me! Humans, unless they’ve had some genetic work done, don’t really have the proportions to loaf properly (legs are too long, and their neck isn’t really meant to go like that for long without support. )They can still tuck in their limbs surprisingly well, and do other postures *similar* to it to relax.
7) Sundyne: A very annoyed, awkward, and spiky loaf. Their many long limbs are hard to bring together like this, and while their neck and back technically can bend to support it they’re still bipedal and not meant to hold it for extended periods of time. Similarly to Rox, they’d only really fold up like this if they were trying to hide or something since being immobile in a difficult position like this goes against their instincts.
8) Muttreazik: Their loafability depends on their host body, ranging wildly from ‘that’s literally a cat’ to ‘I can’t bend my limbs like that. Azel here has some cat/dog physiology in him, so despite his weirdly grafted human bits and chicken wings he’s pretty good at it. If you want to get technical, though, muttreazik are actually just little guys driving those bodies around. If they actually tucked in their nerve-controlling ‘limbs’ , the host body would die from the sudden detachment of what is essentially their brain. (Thus their position in last place)

I drew all the species a teeny tiny bit less stylized than normal, and I think this is the first time appearance of the current muttreazik brain guy design! They’re like if a virus became sentient.
And Yeah the Cerest keep changing I swear to GODDDD I can’t quite figure out what their facial features officially look like but I think maybe for real this time this is it I promise guys I swear > I also changed their eyes again don’t worry about it it’s fine. It’s FINE. Comment things you like about them so I don’t keep potentially erasing stuff that was working with people.
