When I bought my Canon Eos 40D it costed 650 Euro.
And that was ONLY for the camera house and it was a little used as well.
But I have not regreted one second because I totally LOVE that camera.

Where did you buy it?
If a Canon EOS 40D only cost 650 Euro, it would be better if I buy 40D... and not a Olympus E-420. I found the cam on my own stumbling in the Internet and than ask =Teruchan if it's a good cam and she recommended the E-420 and she said it's her first cam.

I bought it on a swedish auction site and I was so happy and excited when I found out that it was mine.
I can't say if the Olympus cameras are good or not because I have never tried one.
Maybe it's just a matter of taste ^^
