Gulimon drawing by Zudomon "Zak"I just downloaded some cool new filters from Alien Skin and this is one sample.
Snake skin (or lizard skin?) gives a flat drawing real depth. Simple but effective me thinks.
Gonna try the fur textures next.

That's cool. The effect makes him look like he's has scales, a definite plus on a reptile such as himself.
