She was a minor character from Spyro; A Hero's Tail (honestly one of the best Spyrp games ever made. I highly recommend even listening to the soundtrack <3 )

I do too, as in they are equally great characters; I used to like Cynder more but since Ember is hated so much and Cynder glorified, I couldn't help but feel bad so I took Ember under my wing, now I have grown to love her more

People hate Ember for the following reasons

1. She's pink (grow up,  reminds me of racist jerks who dislike people for being black/white)

2. She's obsessive with Spyro (well she's a kid who just got carried away, who hasn't done something so immature as a child, that's perfectly understandable.
Also throwing so much abuse at a kid character is disgusting, it reflects your character)

3. She's a love rival for Cynder (Fanon wise yes because she gets shipped with Spyro or people have her obsessive with Spyro, Canon wise no she's not, because she developed a crush on Bandit in Spyro shadow legacy,)
I'm going by Canon, she doesn't like Spyro like that anymore so they need to get a grip

4. She's no Cynder (So what? Cynder may be a good character but she's actually poorly developed, her personality was more unattractive than Ember. Ember was just a kid fangirl while Cynder was a whiney teenage drama queen who acted stuck up and high and mighty) Cynder also was made too depressed, and she needed Spyro to get out of it, would have been better if she found confidence in herself, by herself. Also she may look cooler and have great powers but in the end she's not as awesome as people think. I am only stating the truth, I don't think Cynder should be disliked, but that she's not so unbelievably amazing that she needs to be worshipped and glorified by the vast majority of the fandom.

5. She's weak (Zero evidence to back this up. Ember never appeared in TLOS so we can't know that, people think her pink color makes her weak, that's illogical. This argument is not based on reason but how they feel about her.  If Ember was in TLOS, she probably would have been stronger than Cynder, even if her element was a single element, she could have been an extremely powerful fire dragon, and she could have kick as fighting skills and speed)

6. She's a stalker (I have never seen her stalk Spyro, so this is an understatement)

7. She's overall annoying ( Only a few lines and people lose their **** and attack the poor girl, that's pretty  sad. You most likely were when you were a kid, and most of her haters who glorify Cynder are annoying, I mean "Cynder kicks ass, and Ember is such a puny little bitch who can't hurt a fly, Cynder this Cynder that,)

I've been pointing things similar to your statement out about Ember. And there could be times I can easily shake my head because it's like arguing with someone that would state that these characters exist physically.

And all the bashing the fans, including authors and artists, established on her...they need to stop with the hating crimes. Really.

Meanwhile, as you mentioned about her being pink, the biggest pet peeves goes along with them comparing her to Amy Rose. It simply baffles me in so many ways.

People made Cynder Queen. But actually, Cynder shouldn't get this much popularity.

Ember must loved more. I mean, she's cute and really, REALLY cheerful. Who doesn't like that? Only idiots.

Cynder, in my opinion, need to decrease her popularity. I'm not saying she should lose everything, just some until fans of Cynder and Ember are balanced.

Seriously, what's the point of hating a character if you have no idea what she can do?

I agree, Cynder can have a ton of fans, without them taking their admiration for her too far, that's when things get overrated, too many people exaggerating it's value. 

I am glad you brought up Ember being cute and cheerful because she really is.
Cynder has that badass appearance and personality so people love her over everyone else, she's an anti hero. I tend to like characters like these too but it varies, and I appreciate the characters that are kind and unselfish.

Cynder is losing popularity, ironically, it's because of her obsessive fans (people like to call them cyntards)  I have seen it take place, I lost a lot of love in her when I read a comic called "Spyro's back", the comments also made me cringe. All I have to say is, "poor Ember". 
It would probably have been funny if Ember were popular.

Even though Ember is featured in comics or with a better personality, people are still hating her, they can't let go of the "bratty obsessive fangirl" belief.
My version of Ember is completely different. 

I know right? People are jumping the gun and calling Ember disgusting, when all she said was a few innocent lines and made a brief appearance in only two games. I swear I really really don't understand these people.

Oh and another thing...I despise "Spyro's Back" in so many ways. The artist did a good job promoting Ember to either be the most hated character or just "belongs to Flame". I don't even care if it was a spoof of Amy vs Sally, that comic should "fade away and classify itself as obsolete".
