Description
As tribute to the famous Fallout: Equestria fan-fiction written by Kkat, I've developed a simple main menu for a Fallout: Equestria Flash game. Before anyone starts asking me to create an actual Fallout: Equestria Flash game, I'm afraid the answer to that question is a no, as I simply do not have the time and experience needed to recreate the 45 chapter-long epic. If anyone out there is inspired to create the Flash game in my place, I will be uploading the source code and files within a few days or so.Edit: Added a skip button for the intro, but it may cause an error a few seconds after you click it.
Edit: Fooling around with the music right now, so the .swf file may not work.
Edit: HOLY CRAP! THAT MP3 FILE I CREATED WAS OVER 10MB?!?!?! Anyways, enjoy the music if it is playing.

Shouldn't it be FALLOUT:EQUESTRIA? And will this have a slideshow at the start of it along with the text? I would be nice to have someone do little pieces of art for each slide. Should be one artist, so it looks consistent. But anyway, just unbelievable...

This is absolutely fantastic! I reeeeeeally wished this actually worked, because I would totally play it (after forcing you to accept a bag full of caps or pre-war money, your choice).
I'm curious as to how you've retained such high quality images in the final product though, because I've never been able to do that in Flash. Is it just that I'm using an out-dated version of flash, or because each frame is an imported png.?

I use Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5, but I really don't think your problem has to do with your version of Flash at all. All the graphics except for the background image you see were created from within Flash itself, and all in one file too. The background image is actually a single JPEG image imported into the Flash Library, which I converted into a Movie Clip symbol and applied some Motion Tweens to it to simulate motion.

If anyone does create a fallout Equestria flash game (i've heard whispers of something like this possibly happening one day) I'd really recommend this to be the games menu cause its pretty dam cool.

The text cycles too fast in the beginning. Do a space-bar change of text instead, that would work better in my opinion. Other than that i see no obvious flaws.
