OMFG! O.o more Wuthering Heights fan art! But this time it's also a Phantom of the Opera fanart!this was inspired by me noticing some rather odd similarities between the two stories. >.>
1. the main character is an angsty, vengeful, outcast of society
2. said main character is in love with a girl who is portrayed(in the movies at least) as being a culy haired brunette
3. said girl's name begins with "C" and ends with "E" (Catherine, Christine)
4. said girl ends up marring a blonde rich guy that none of the fans seem to like
5. and I could be wrong but I think the stories are set in the same time period
anyways this was done in pen and then colored in adobe photoshop. Note: the backgrounds are pictures.(but I'm sure you already noticed that)

Why is it that the dark sexy men always get left behind?! It gives a perfect opportunity for the rabid fan girls to attack.
I love Wuthering Heights and I couldn't live without Phantom of the Opera. Great job!!!

Cathy married for survival. If she followed her heart she'd have gone with Heathcliff.
Aaaand...I don't know anything about Phantom of the Opera. I just watched the movie. xD

Gasp! My two favorite, seriously depressed/extremely obsessed/ pretty much deranged literary figures! Wow! You did so well! I dig facial expressions, and I am very impressed by yours! Excellent work!!!! Poor H and E… They need the cure all of depression and loneliness: pumpkin pancakes. *heh-heh* And I happen to have fresh pumpkin at my house… LOL

Aww hottie Heathcliff!! Why is it always the fictional characters which attract me most? Well, I've been in love with Sirius Black for five years, and Heathcliff and he are bit alike in respect of both outer appearance and behaviour... That's probably why-- I'm attracted to that sort of men. Sadly enough, they don't seem to exist in real life. That sucks, doesn't it?

This...this is BRILLIANT. I've always noticed the stories being so similar, but you've acted upon it! I love the outcome!! Bravo!!
(And they're not actually set in the same time period - WH is set in the late 1700s, whereas POTO is set in the late 1800s).

Thank you ^^ and yeah I know the time periods aren't exactly the same I just mentioned that cuz WH starts getting into the 1800s near the end but yeah you're right they really aren't the same ...
