I really like the way this page turned out and how you paneled everything. It kind of reminds me of the Pokemon Special manga, but idk if it is because of the tones. Regardless, you're doing a really good job.

Oh man you really should read the Pokemon Special manga. Its really helpful for getting inspired for fighting scenes with pokemon, the characters actually kick ass-actually everything kicks ass [link] you don't have to read 400+chapters, you can just skip around but you should totally do it.

In Platinum, I called him Kira just because I wanted to name him after a character and Kira sounded good. (he's nothing like the actual Kira) Then in Soul Silver I thought it would be a fun little tidbit to make his surname a Death Note reference, too.

Yeah, she was evolved. I wouldn't be crazy enough to go after the kimono girls with an un-evolved Pokemon. And just to add insult to injury, I had lost my Victrebell to a critical hit hyper beam from Clair's Kingdra. I was like that part of the game was out to get rid of my main battlers.
I've never payed attention to the random trainers, if I'm honest. Hence why there is no real mention of them in my Platinum run.
