Lookit that another Kalos mon. I thought talonflame was pretty cool when I first saw it, but I didn't think much of it. Until I caught a fletchling in X and took her all the way :'D She was certainly one of my MVPs and also very adorable in Pokemon-Amie ^^Related content

I love Talonflame too, except the name. Possibly one of the coolest pokemon ever to have a horrible name. It just sounds so... half-assed. It is the only Pokemon I can think of where I actually prefer the Japanese translationed name, Fiarrow.
I mean seriously, when it was revealed on Serebii I took one look at it's info and already had a better name on the tongue. Flarigrine. And that's what I named mine. They did so well on design and then North America Nintendo drops the ball on the English name.

With braixen (and Pyroar are to some degree) I didn't need talonflame but I can see the appeal

I had a delphox AND a talonflame xD Which was actually good because I still had a fire type when my delphox died.

I had like 3 or 4 fire types going into the bug gym and was like "this is a little silly" xD
so I ditched the bird after that (I also stopped using braixen by the time I got to lumious city in my nuzlocke. It was a little boring since I used it in my regular run)
