i don't want to sound like a nerd or anything, but it is shown that if you stop doing some for a while and then come back to it, you will do better than before cause you will lose a lot of your bad habits. i find that it applies to music and writing. idk about art through

For art, that kind of thing helps if it's only for a short period of time like a week or something. Going so long without drawing has made me lose a bit of skill
