Maplepaw was born to Shinepelt (NCP) and Ginger (NPC) in CliffClan's nursery. Shinepelt's mate, Gingerrush was known for being disloyal, even breaking the warrior code once. He was forgiven, but no one trust him afterwards. Shinepelt knew she was expecting kits long before she told her mate, who tried to change his attitude in order to raise his offspring right. Unfortunately, Gingerrush left the Clan a few days after Shinepelt gave birth, renaming himself Ginger. He promised to return someday as a better cat, but that he could not stay in a Clan where he was not trusted. Shinepelt named her two kits Maplekit and Oakkit.

Maplepaw has grown into a lean, well muscled apprentice, and will train hard to become a warrior.
After the Battle
His mentor, Snailmist, has been recently appointed leader of CliffClan after they were attacked by DuskClan. Maplepaw wants to train even more to prepare for any war between the two. After many moons of training, Maplepaw is ready to become a full warrior of CliffClan, as soon as he passes his assignment.
