Heather unlike most of her friends, with most being just humans, and Charlotte being supernatural in original, a vampire. Heather Veil is what you call a hybrid of the natural and supernatural. Her father was a human, and her mother is a demon, and that's how she has her powers for claws and fire. Out of Charlotte's friends, she's the wild one of the bunch, always throwing parties, and loves to play games, and always do the most daring of deeds, even if one calls "only the most insane would try the crazy, no sane person would do". But despite all that, she's very respected by her friends, and has a really good relationship with her friend June, whom she's been with for so long.

Unlike Charlotte who lived with her Guardian, and June who has her mother and grandmother, Heather lives on her own, seemingly, she moved out of her parents hourse, just to have a life of her own, not only having her own place/apartment, she also helped herself with a part time job while she deals with school. But when she learns Ralph moved in, she can't help but welcome in for whatever fun she'll have to throw at him. Even if fun will turn upside down, and goes out in mayhem.
