Seriously. Someone needs to help me with Contest titles. They're getting pretty bad XDfraX-tured Fairy Tales
For this contest, I'm reusing one of the classics-- those of you who were around a decade ago may remember it from Lesli's Groovy Fanart Contests! That's right, we're doing X-men Fairy Tales again! Now, recently Marvel's actually released an actual comic of the Marvel universe titled, appropriately enough, Marvel Fairy Tales. And if it's good enough for Marvel, it's absolutely good enough for us!
For this contest, you'll want to draw the Evo characters reenacting fairy tales. Pretty simple! You could have Jean as the Princess with the Pea, or Toad as the Frog prince. Be it Bobby Drake as the Emperor in his 'new clothes' or Sabertooth as the Big Bad Wolf, these comparisons seriously write themselves. Go fairy-tale-crazy!

Can I ask? Does the fairy tales only cover popular fairy tales or can you take a fairy tale from different countries and use it for this contest? For example, I'm from Malaysia and there are a few local fairy tales I might want to use. But I just need to ask this question.

You can use fairy tales from different countries if you like ^_^ However, if it's unfamiliar, you might want to re-cap how the story goes in the artist comments, or provide a link to the story so people can be on the same page as you

Pencils are underway as we speak , but not particularly satisfied with the pose , considering i STILL have to fit the sumbitch in my scanner XC

Are we allowed to "Evolutionize" characters for contests?
Like say, throw Pixie or Nocturne or someone who wasn't actually in the show? (But of course have them in with characters who were.)

So long as you have MOSTLY Evo characters. I'd like to see a greater than 1:1 ratio. So if you feel that you absolutely CANT figure out ANY other way to use ANY Evo character to fill a roll, then I want to see at LEAST two Evo characters for every one non-evo canon character. That said, I usually don't accept art with Comic-canon characters. It's MUCH more fun to try and see who you can find in the limited canon of Evo to fill the rolls, and this is the EVO Obsessed Club. First prize is a place in the club gallery, but I would feel very hesitant to add work with non-evo characters in it. You be the judge. I'll LIKELY let it in, regardless, but if you want to tell me specifically what your idea is in a note, I can maybe help out some :d

I actually don't have an idea at the moment, I just wanted to ask (since I have a feeling in the future I might forget...since a friend and I have been Evo-styling a few characters. I like to think they look pretty legit lol)
