Man. I didn't get, like, any comments on page nine. Make me cry, guys! Good thing i don't do this for the comments, because otherwise I'd feel bad. ^_~I haven't determined/decided/remembered how tall Jean is, so I'm trying to keep from giving any distinct clues right now.
She looks a bit stiff in that full-body shot, but I chalk that up to the fact that she's feeling incredibly awkward in the BHH. Wouldn't you? Also: Mittens! Jean wears mittens! If I was telekinetic, I'd wear mittens too. Don't have to worry about dexterity, and they keep your hands warmer.
I find it amusing how snitty I'll get over particular powers, but when I come across a power I haven't researched fully, I'll just make shit up, which is exactly what drives me crazy and makes me snitty in others. Which is a roundabout way of me saying- I call Toad's powers "Amphibious Regression" much in the way that Wolverine and Sabertooth have "Feral Regression." A possible side effect of such an Amphibious Regression could be an increased sensitivity to the cold. Hence poor Toad's sitch-ee-aye-shun above.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Or something.
