Change in scene. There was initially going to be one of my little marker boxes in the upper left corner, saying "Meanwhile" or "At the mansion" or whatever, but.... I didn't redline it, and so it never made it to inks. XD My bad.

Anywho. TOAD. YES. FINALLY. This page doesn't work quite the way I wanted it to, but it was the best I could do on the size I was working on (A4). There was initially a different punchline, as well, but it was supposed to be a set up for a joke I was going to do QUITE a bit down the line, and after having actually scripted that page, I decided the joke wasn't working, and went for a more pay-off-y now. Thanks be to for letting me bounce ideas off her, and offering her advice... like, 3 months ago when I wrote this page. >.9

And SPEAKING of writing. I apologize in advance for how I write Toad. I really have noooooooooooooooooo idea whatsoever how to write for him, which is the primary reason it's taken me so long to get him into a speaking role. For some reason, I like to infuse his dialog with Ebonics. Why? I don't know. I really... really don't. O_o So... asking for forgiveness on the next six pages or... however many this sequence takes. I can't remember. Six sounds right though.

Much as the post office sequence was the Meeting of The Mutants with Strangely White Hair, this would be the meeting of the Mutants with Strangely Defined Noses. Though when the 3rd person arrives, it's going to switch to the meeting of the Mutants with Impossible To Draw Jawlines. Because Iiiiii love me.
