It is entirely impossible for me to have nice things. Between this page, and the last, my computer has continued it's general dowanwards spiral into death. Now, not only does my computer move with all the fluidity of a flip book, but all the colours are fucked too. White is neon pink. Black is neon green. And there is snow and static flickering over the entire thing.

Thaaaaat made it sort of hard to do this page. So... I hope it looks ... at all like I want it to O_o

That said: I'm really excited. I've been waiting to get to this plot for like... friggin EVER. I, like many of you, enjoy the X-men comics as well as the glorious Evo. And, like many of you, I went "Buwwahhhh" when Amanda was introduced in Evo as.... Kurt's girlfriend. You probably didn't know, she's ACTUALLY supposed to be his sister. She's also supposed to be a mutant called "Magik'. No, not Colossus's sister... though there are plans. SUCH PLANS

Er. Anywho. This is the Evo version of Magik (2.0!). Her Name's Amber Jimaine Sefton, and she's Amanda's cousin. She can teleport, just like Kurt. Plus, she's got magic like Wanda (hence the name, hur hurr), and hipnotisim. She's got a lot of OTHER powers in the comics, but I figured she can grow into them later.

I've got some character sketches for Amber, but I'm not sure if I'm going to upload them yet. The black and white doesn't normally bother me, because we all know Kurt's hair is blue, his shirt is red etc etc. But I'm not sure how to reference Amber's colours in the comic, without some really hackneyed writing. But the character sketches all reference some of the important plot twists, that I don't want to give away. Hurmm. WHY MUST I WORK MYSELF IN TO CORNERS??!?

I'm really excited for this next story. It is... Really good. Normally? My writing is not so much of the good. But I've been trying really hard on this one, so hopefully you'll enjoy reading as much as I did writing!

Edit: Oh, I totally forgot, but I gave Amber my favourite outfit. They were having this sale on sweaters as Aeon Jusco, and they're like- the CUTEST THINGS EVER, so I thought Amber should have one. I left all my peddle pushers in Montana though :<
