.... Aaaand here's where all the people who know Chess go "Whut? That's not how it goes" D:<In my defense- I did say lyrics "more or less" from Chess. u.u
Plus- I'm gonna fuck shit up a LOT worse later on >_>
Again. From Pietro's POV. Not necessarily an ACCURATE telling of the history, but when you've only got one side of the story...
GAWD, this is is SUCH bad druamahhhh. >.< I'm a bad person.
__________________________________________________________________________
When I was 9, I learned survival. Taught myself not to care.
I was my single, good companion. Taking my comfort there.
Up in my room, I planned my conquests. All alone, never asked for a helping hand. No-one would understand.
I never asked the ones who moved below. Just incase they said "No."
Pity the child that has ambition. Knows what he wants to do. Knows that he'll never fit the system others expect him to.
Pity the child who knew his family. Saw their faults, saw the love die before his eyes. Pity the child that wise.
He never asked "Did I cause your distress?" ... just incase they said "Yes."
When I was 12, my father moved out. I wasn't enough to keep him about.
I didn't miss him, he made it perfectly clear that I was a fool and probably queer.
I took the road of least resistance, I had my games to play. I had the skill, and more, the hunger, easy to get away.
Pity the child wiht no such weapons, no defence no escape from the ties that bind. Always a step behind.
I never called to tell him all I'd done. I was only his son.
Pity the child, but not forever. Not if he stays that way. He can get all he ever wanted... if he's prepared to pay.
Pity, instead, the careless father. What he missed, what he lost when he Let me go. And I wonder if he knows...
I wouldn't call, a crazy thing to do. Just incase he says "... who?"
Lyrics (more or less) from Chess.

Well, if I were forcibly separated from my destructively dangerous sibling and then abandoned by my last remaining relative to live all alone in a spooky Transylvanian mansion, I'd probably be a dick in high school too. I'm surprised Pietro even got along with the basketball team long enough to play through a game.

I just mean I'm such a hypocrite, always getting snitty when OTHER people do drama, then I go and do something like this.
But I'm glad you're enjoying it

Okay, yeah, that house? That house is creepy. That house all alone...
It might be a biased view, but I don't think that it being biased necessarily makes something invalid. If he felt abandoned, regardless of the reason, that means something.

I ain't sayin' it's invalid. I'm just clarifying that my view is not "AND THEN MAGNETO ABANDONED PIETRO CUZ HES AN ASSHOLE LOL HE SUCH A BAD DAD BLAH OTHER 1-DIMENSIONAL CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT THINGS BLAH"
That's sort of how this entire series goes, though. I really like Mags, and HIS side of the story is very different than this view. That doesn't make it SUCK any less for Pietro though. ^_^;;

I've always found Magneto far more likable than Xavier, personally. He's an asshole, you know that, and he doesn't really try to pretend to anyone but himself that he's anything different. Xavier is, from my view, just as bad an asshole, if not worse, than Magneto is...he just tries to cover it up or justifies doing the same awful stuff as Magneto because he's the good guy and Mags isn't.
Which rather grinds my gears, obviously .
But,yes, still sucks to his kid.

Oh gawd yes. Xavier is sneaky and underhanded. I do not trust him and his wooblie brain powers.
Yes. In all ways, to this. XD

I really like how you have the figure in space. It's as though he really is standing in the room freely. It doesn't look like he's going to fall over or is laying on the floor.
Me, I woulda fucked that up BIG TIME. You...make it look so easy. *envy* ;.;

You mean like how you can do overhead shots of folks so effortlessly, using that "ever so slight yet DESPERATELY necessary to make something look good" foreshortening?
Your comment makes me happy ^,^

I pity the child. I also pity the fool. But that's another story. A very nice shot. Again, I like the feel of it. Lovely!
