Random sketch trade with my bud
They asked for Copy X from Megaman Zero~
... |D; I don't know if I've ever drawn a Megaman character previously... I just know this guy was a pain in the ass to me (as in really challenging in a good way~).
The pose took 5 tries to get to one that I liked, and then I got sucked down by perspective... After that it was a battle... And hard I fought...
I hate that gun...and the feet...those were the hardest.
In return I asked for one of my characters (at random) to be stylized as a Megaman character. * v* It turned out so freaking awesome. (At this time hasn't been uploaded yet- but I've received it~)

Oh hush you. I think you did really well, now quit putting yourself down. >.> I love his pose, Megaman characters look best in those sorts of action poses. All the details look really nice, and it's just so... him. Sorry I can't give you any more meaningful comments other than "I like this," I just really can't think of anything else to say. I might end up coloring this one day since I do like it that much. |D

I think that's pretty nice. you did the pose very well. the suit is pretty well done too. nice sketch girl!

There was a trend in the late 90s to add more "spiky appendages" to robotic/mystical characters (especially when they never connected to the actual body in question, by some unknown means), and I think that eventually bled over into the "Megaman" series (God, I need to not to this drunk) wshich is about the time I left it, when the "X" series got outta control.
Still, I think youre rendtiion it very solid, with the sharp, angular features harkening back to that age of robo-anime where eveything was sharp and pointy without being encumbered by a sense of "utility."
The feet are fine, if for nothing else than the fact that they were always drawn blocky and stiff like that without proper explanation how a largely metallic meing would be able to move them.
