In Earth forces desperate attempt, sends out every experimental and super weapons to finish the fight. They claimed victory THE END.Aldnoah Zero a very entertaining show this season, defense group lack of variety on their Katapracts is disappointing it adds tension to the action somehow. Sleipnir mechs are ok their jump jet with stabilizers felt weird it needs more boost power if they only have Aldnoah weapons they can use and bigger nutter guns, maybe they'll show their own super prototype piloted by a teenage boy just like in every anime.

The show is cool but I can't stand the protagonist who just seems uninterested at the events happening. I've only watched up until ep 2.
Anyways, awesome art. Makes me want o continue watching the series.

The show's website tells us Earth Kataphrakts are 13.5 meters tall. The Martian Kataphrakts are bigger, depending on which one. The Argyre was 16.5m, the Nilokeras 18.5m, and the Hellas was 22m tall.

Terrific looking Kataphract, man! and yes, Aldnoah Zero is one of the most interesting entries this season. Dat Exia switch-blade is scrumptious.
The first time I've heard of the word was when I played Age of Empires II many years ago. Aldnoah's the first instance I've seen the word used in an anime. The name's really fitting because the historical Kataphract (or Kataphractoi) meant 'fully covered'.
Too bad the main characters never got to see the face of the bowl-cut bastard, Trillram. His machine, Nilokeras, was a beast in the truest sense. How can anyone know the nature of it's functions, let alone any potential weaknesses, without making sacrifices in the process? It's design somehow reminds me of the Gau Assault Carrier from Gundam.
I am certain that members of his clan possess a bowl cut like him . There are chances that we may be able to see the other members of his clan so I can be proven wrong XD Doesn't hurt to imagine though! When he mentioned about his clan, I had wishes of them being massacred or something.
Looking at the developments, thus far. Either the Earthlings have secret weapons OR they'd get their hands on Martian-tech. In a way, the premise reminds me of Gundam AGE, where the Vegan mobile suits far outclassed those of Earth's.
