Description Not a fancy angle, this ice actually looked like this on these leaves.... it was amazing!

I remember how proud and impressed I was with myself for having captured this photo. It has been my favorite of my own photos up until recently! I never really knew how to bring out the colors I saw on that day but they were so beautiful! I needed to rework the original photo and update this deviation with the new version. I'm much happier with this one now.Β

I have never seen anything like this! I love how detailed the ice is with the bramble looking underbrush things in the background.

I couldn't resist photographing this. This happened last winter when it was sort of icing (I guess it's called hail?) outside, but more like rain, and it froze that way. The ice melted and ran down the petal, and the wind blew it just right while it was freezing! I have never seen anything like this either, it was a definite once-in-a-life-time photo opportunity!

Yes, it's rather strange. It's considered a 'desert' because it's so dry, though when I hear desert, I think of dunes of sand. Thank you for sharing!!

It wasn't even snowing that day. It was freezing rain, not hail. It froze when it landed... It was strange. I just couldn't resist this shot! It's a one of a kind... just like you and me.
