Quite challenging to this kind of stuff, I think I'll follow this with the Logos of the 3 WallsLogos from the 4 Military on the Attack on Titan Anime/Manga series.
-Training Corps, which oversees the training, upon the recruits after graduation will choose from the 3 branches of the Military.
-Garrison reponsible for guarding and patrolling around the Walls, and evacuation of Civilians if necessary.
-Survey Corps for Elite soldiers who scouts Lands outside the Walls for reclamation against Titans
-Military Police mostly resides in the Inner Walls, and primarily for protecting the Monarchs ruling over.
* In Onepiece, Kaido's Jolly Roger flag was revealed (with colors), so I think I'll update the First one that I made, or post an updated one (if I can't use the Old Files).

If your joining the garrison. I hope you rank to captain or section commander in the garrison.
As for me, I'm going to join the survey corps. Why, because I don't want to be a coward that hides in the walls all the time until Titans come to eat me. One day, they will break through the walls. But I want to join because I don't want to be eaten. I also want to join to see the outside world and see the ocean. Also, I would fight the Titans for myself and my comrades in the whole regiment. Everyone else. No go.

Well In my on choosing, I implemented the "Real Life Scenario and Environment". I think my Head will Spin doing those Air-acrobatic stunts of Survey Corps. As I stated, being in the Garrison is not just sitting on "Top" of those walls, it is also protecting the Civilians "within" the Walls. At the same time blasting some Titans grouping at some place near the Walls. I think of all the 3 Departments, The Survey Corps have the most Intel/Info and experience battling Titans, and unfortunately the Least is the Military Police (though I find them quite Arrogant, and Corrupt). Hence, I would say the Garrison plays both Offense and Defense. And being on the Top of the walls, I can see the wide Fields that could have been peacefully occupied.
