Thanks!! The limbs are actually part of the twig that I used as her base. ^__^
She was a spur of the moment thing, and is definitely one of my favorites!

thanks!! she was completely a 6 hour doodle. I set out to make a "cheer me up" for a friend who's having a bad week and expected it to be a little thing and take me an hour and a half tops. ::sigh::
She's about 10 inches tall and her core is this really interesting twig I found in my back yard.

I love the blues and greans. I like to use analogous color schemes in my painting. I do that a lot.

That is just off the wall. I love it.
She's pleasantly baffling to look at; the materials you've used in construction definitely give her a natural look by default, but at the same time she is such an odd little creature that is so clearly unnatural due to her lovely physical strangeness. Dare I say she is 'cute' due to her mournful facial expression? I do. She is rather endearing, in her own unique way.
Tailfeathers and wispy mohair fuzz are a very nice touch.
