well, u cut out with the polygonal lasso using very short segments so you get a fluid and precise cut, then u select all the outside with the wand, and you go to select->modify->expand and expand it 2 or 3 pixels, depending on the size of the image, and you give to that area a blur of about 1.5 to 3 pixels of gaussian blur and then deselect.
with this, the contours will somehow merge into the background and seem more realistically to be part of the photo. XD I hope I explained myself well XD
