he offered his hand to pull
me out of the deep black hole
i was weak and fragile
but he held me close to him and i thought
for a moment
that i would be okay
that it would be okay
but he pushed me back
even to a deeper hole
oh its not him its life
he was just an instrument
sent down for a mass destruction
he told me "you're pretty"
but pretty is a relative term
just like "you are important to me"
unfortunately not as much
as i wanted me to be
