He could hear the post man’s car stop outside by the road. It was just a small sound in the background, there he stood by the kitchen counter and watched the water run down the sink as he waited for it to be cold enough. The sounds kept going. The yellow and purple radio in the kitchen window speaked about animal rights and big place to play on. A happy voice behind him could be heard when the door got open and he knew the mail was about to be picked up. Suddenly, he just felt numb in the body, and couldn’t stop watching the water stream down with no one to stop it. His thoughts was far away for a long time, the sight in front of him got unclear like a fog, before he in a second, could feel a warm breathe in the neck, and someone who stood behind him and watched him and woke him up.
He didn’t react. Just blinked and got his feelings back and saw the fog clear from his eye. He had gotten used to feel the hybrid so close to him, and didn’t got tense anymore like before. It was just the hybrids nature.
“Something wrong...?” Abyss voice felt sharp through the silent sounds around him and woke him more up. He blinked again and turned the water off. He wasn’t thirsty no more... the radio played a song now. Tori Amos. All he knew about her was that she had red hair.
“No.”
“You seem so weird...” did the hybrid say again, a bit worried, and slipped the mail from his paw, down to the counter. Hauk hide a low sigh and didn’t looked at him or turned. Abyss’ paw suddenly touched his slightly bowed neck. He didn’t react no either.
“Are you feeling ill...?”
“I am tired...”
“Try to sleep then, maybe? You woke up this morning early. Don’t worry, I’ll wake you up before dinner, okay?” Abyss brushed gently his rusty brown hair and smiled lovingly. Hauk stared into the wall with a drowsy gaze. It was weird, but the light touch felt good. It sent a warm chill down his spine and out through the back and all the way to his tail. It was strange...
“Okay,” he said low and with out a special tone in it, and was about to turn to walk to the bedroom, when Abyss grabbed his arm and turned him towards him, and wrapped his furry arms around him in a gentle and warm hug. Hauk got surprised, but forced himself to not take it in a wrong way.
“I am sorry if I make you feel uncomfortable sometimes, but I just wants what’s best for you. We all do. I cant help it, but I have to. I love you... and you don’t need to say anything. I understand...” Abyss let him go again, and pushed him gently and  soft in the direction of the bedroom. “Try to sleep a bit,” he said, and watched Hauk look at him for a little moment with a strange gaze, before he went to the bedroom and closed the door.

Abyss felt that he had been given a new chance in life. With his own son, Lysander, and finally, with Hauk. Now that his worse enemies was gone, and Lysander had returned safe home, he felt that he was stronger then ever, and could smile and even sing small phrases and lyrics when ever he wanted. Everything was so good now. Though, he had one time for not so long ago, thought he was about to loose it all.

When Ravn had found Hauk on the bathroom floor in the bad motel, they had all thought he was dead. Ariero, Ravn and Sedek had never left the city after the dramas with Angel and Icarus and the rest of Abyss ‘family’. They had stayed near by, until they finally got the signs that they had to track their Orlon warrior friend down. Again.
Ravn, who had the best nose of them all, had tracked him down fast, and after that, Ariero had to revile on all his powers and wake up Hauk from his coma. It was not before long time after that, that Abyss got a phone that Hauk was a live and safe. After the call, he had cried in relief in an hour in the bathroom. Poor Lysander... when he finally had come home again, it was this he got involved in.  But it was not to end there.

Abyss sooner met the Orlon leader, to talk with him about Hauk. The truth was, that the big dragonelf hadn’t spoken to Hauk for a year, first time after that long time, was in the end of Angels loss. As a lord for a whole pack, it was difficult to have time to everything, and sad enough, had he lost the contact with Hauk fast. Hauk never was the one to take the first step either, as Abyss did knew all to good.
Sedek was  a good leader, and was worried when he met the hybrid, in the towns library, to set things up and tell him the plans for the future. Abyss liked the library, but not as much as the dragonelf, and it was quiet there. That was a though he didn’t like, when he had met Sedek there, and they sat down in a room all alone.
He still remembered every word from that talk...

The dragonelfs heavy eye browns made his grass green eyes very serious when he talked. The voice was strong and manly in the quiet room. Abyss felt to bow his head and act respectful all the time.  After all; Sedek was a king from where he came from, and had a strong authority. They talked about Hauk all the time.
“The truth is, that he is like a brother for me,” had the dragonelf said low and dark. “I still remember the first time we met, when I was 14 and he was just a rag who couldn’t do anything but play tricks and be brut. Hauk becomed one of us very fast, and one of the family too. He has a willpower of his own, and helped me and others all the time to keep trying and see the positive in things... he used to smile and laugh every day, every morning and every night...” the leaders voice got melancholic. Abyss looked at him with a sad gaze. “But in time he just disappeared. Mentally. Before he left us all. We never got to knew what we had did wrong or what was with him. He told me his story, yes, but I felt that there was something more behind it all... he never told me.”
“He doesn’t tell me things so much, either...”  the hybrid pouted. Sedek blinked slowly and calm to him. Abyss felt a bit better in the dragonelfs stare. Sedek just wanted to talk to someone who would understand him. He needed the hybrids help.
“Hauk have to come with us, back home, Abyssinian...” Sedek started gently and folded his big hands on his lap as he looked at the hybrid who gave him a shocked stare. Sedek continued.

“Hauk was in shock when we found him. The though of being alone and after the whole drama and other things that must have happened, was too much for him to bare, and it’s something I feel a deeply sorrow for. He is my responsibility, in the end is every one who is a part of Orlon my responsibility. He fooled me to believe that he could take care of himself, but I see now that he needs us more then anything to get back to what he was before.”
‘Before I ruined him?’ did Abyss think inside his head, and bowed his head shameful. ‘Before I started to inject him with my sick love and push him to the edge of madness?’
“Don’t blame yourself, Abyss...” He looked up. Could Sedek read his minds? The dragonelf didn’t say more, but just looked at him with deep and calm eyes. Abyss couldn’t say anything. It was chilly in the library room.
“Hauk have always had problems to show what he really feels and to know how to talk to others and behave. That’s something I though he would grow out of, but now do I see that it has only done thing worse. That’s why I think its best for him to come home with us for a while, so that he and we can square things up and help him. Abyss, the poor boy hasn’t cried since his mother died in front of his eye...”
‘Yes, he has...’ did Abyss think again, deep, deep inside his mind, and refused to look at the dragonelf. ‘He cried cuz I violated him, left him alone...’ the though just made the hybrid wanted to cry and beg Sedek to forgive him for his brutal behaviour on his dear friend, but he didn’t move. Sedek watched the sad look of his, and frowned.
“If you want, you can come visit him once in a while. Hauk would be glad to see you come to see his old home, I am sure. You are always welcome to us, you know.”
“Thanks but... I think it’s for the best that you take him home and get him to forget all the bad that has happened lately... he needs it... “
“And what do you need, Abyss? Do you have someone to talk to and to be with when we leave?” did Sedek ask kindly.

‘I need to feel that he likes me, just a little bit,’ did Abyss think again. ‘That I can touch him and not create fear or be pushed away when I want to tell him that I love him. I love him so much that I just want to die!!!! CAN’T YOU SEE THAT?! WHY DO YOU TAKE HIM AWAY FROM ME?! WHY?! I NEED HIM!!!! DON’T YOU DARE COME AFTER YEARS AND TAKE HIM AWAY FROM ME!!! HAUK IS MINE!!! TOUCH HIM AND I’LL KILL YOU!!!!! HE IS MINE!!!’
“I will be fine, thank you...” Abyss couldn’t look at the dragonelf no more... he felt his body shaked in the chair. He didn’t wanted to talk about this anymore. Why he suddenly felt such a anger against the Orlon leader he didn’t knew. Maybe it was because of all the things he and Hauk had been through all these years, and now they wanted to take Hauk away from him, put him in a home where he never felt loved or worshiped for the person he was, and think it would be better?! Sedek could feel in the air that the hybrid didn’t like the conversation.
“Abyss...” he said low and hooked up in the chair and tried to make eye contact. Abyss refused quietly.
“Hauk is just gonna stay with us for a while, not forever. He said it himself, he never liked the place in Mochna, but we care for him, and we want to make sure he will be good again. When he is ready, he will be free again to go where ever we wants to. And I think its gonna be home to you and Simle...”
“Why do you think that...?” did Abyss spit low.
“Because he had your neck less with him when we found him.” Abyss looked at him. Sedek was still very calm and serious.
“He had?”
“Yes. And it tells me that you have been his only friend for a long time. Hauk take very good care of his closest friends, in his own way so to say, but you should feel lucky: Hauk doesn’t have  so many friends other then us. He is picky... “

Abyss heart started to swell with joy. But it only made his anger and frustration of the fact that they was gonna take him away from him, even worse to control. He just wanted to find Hauk and take him with him far away, run from them all and keep him safe alone, just with him and his son Lysander and his own daughter Semema.
“What about Semema?” he asked suddenly. His ears peered up at Sedek.
“She will decide if she wants to follow or stay here with you. She has her school here and her friends, so I think she will stay here until Hauk will be better.”
“Better? You talk like he is sick...”
“Hauk is sick, Abyss. He has gastric ulcer, negative energy and doesn’t have control over his temper any more. He is stressed out, Ariero has done his job to search for every trail in his mind and body to find out what’s wrong, and its a lot more. Hauk need help, Abyss. You have maybe done your best, but its not enough.... I am sorry, but as his leader is it my duty to take him with us.”

Abyss could remember every word, and he had asked if he at least could say good bye to Hauk before they took him away. He had found the dragonelf in bed, drowsy and weak and pale as a lifeless love. Abyss got  a moment alone with him, and had started to cry with no control and buried his face down in the bed and claimed his claws gently over his face, kissed his forhead, whispered over and over again: ‘I am sorry, I am so sorry...! Please, forgive me, please! Don’t forget me, don’t hate, don’t leave me with out a word...! Please...! I need you so bad... I need you...with out you, I am gonna die..!’
But all he did get then was a weak breathing and a cold and pale skin to touch. Hauk was weak of the pain and after the shock, and Abyss did understand that he never would get a decent word out of him. And he felt it was all his fault...

Semema wanted to stay with Abyss, and when they left, did Lysander had a though job in cheering them up. Abyss had a nice though about his son. He come home when it was need for him the most, and with out being afraid that no one should hurt him or get in way for a conflict. Abyss was so proud of him. He had done his best to keep the faith in them both. Semema was easy to cheer up, and she looked forward to see her dad again. Simle and Veps too, but Abyss couldn’t help it, but felt a soften pain inside his stomach, scared that they would not let Hauk leave from Mochna when he wanted too and finally could. He felt now that when he was gone from him, he didn’t have no one who could stand by his side and protect him. So was Abyss thoughts...

It did go three months before he finally got a happy letter : Hauk was getting much better, and could come back now. And he wanted to come home to them.

But it also was written that he had to come home to Mochna every third month, as Sedek command. Abyss was glad though. They wanted to keep a eye on him and make sure he lived healthy. They cared after all. Soon, it was a normal thing that he went home every third month, and Abyss got used to it. He waited patiently every time, had his quality time with his son and Semema, his own brothers, Kylelle and Starr, cleaned the house and had his jobs, and when the month was over, Hauk returned home again, and it was just as joyful as always for the hybrid.

Now, nearly 9 months after the drama with Angel and Abyss brother,  could Abyss tell that Hauk had becomed more calm and easier to talk to then before. He had started to learn to control his temper and try to speak instead of yell and hit and get aggressive. Abyss has also learned to not push his luck, and be very careful when he wanted to touch the dragonelf. He didn’t wanted to scare him, so every time he wanted a hug, to pet his back or remove a few strains of hair from his one and only healthy eye, he did it respectfully and almost like a pal instead of a lover. It was hard, but it was at least something. Abyss didn’t complain. He was just happy Hauk was getting more happy now then before.

Simle also could see this good new living of them, and she was often in the house to visit them and be social. Once in a while she did bring with her some of her own friends, just as a little joke to maybe see if Abyss did notice one of them and get in love with a fem. Hauk was easy to enjoy, and got every one to like him, but it only made the hybrid jealous and he didn’t liked none of the friends she took with her if they only wanted to touch Hauk, flirt and giggle like stupid chicks. Some of them even got Simle jealous, so she stopped to bring with her friends in the end. Abyss knew she still had a crush on Hauk, but she never took a step further. She had learned how it was to live with Hauk for a long time ago, and she didn’t took her chance to bring him back with her. She had learned the hard way, and it was best for her kid, Veps and for Hauks daughter, Semema, that they didn’t live under the same roof anymore. Abyss frowned at that. Hauk was getting better! But he didn’t say nothing. He wanted the dragonelf all by himself.

Abyss looked at the bedroom door. Everything was getting better, and it was so good. But one thing did he notice quite often: Hauk was in some of the times, very sad, though he tried to hide it. It made the hybrid depressed and hurt, but a big part of was, in fact, that Hauk never heard something from his father or only sister. Not even around holidays or birthdays. Like they was ashamed by him. When he was home at Mochna, did he never see them or did get the chance to find them. It was like they didn’t wanted to even give him a chance.

It was a though that had made the hybrid very depressed, cuz he knew how Hauk in the past had tried so hard to live up to their names and honour, to be something they would be proud of, but they had never given him an answer back for all his hard work. It was so evil that when he started to think of them, Abyss could feel his rage build up inside him. It was Hauks father who had to be blamed in the first place for Hauks way of dealing his own feelings and act around others. Falkefot had never been a good father for Hauk. Abyss hated him for that, though he never had met him personally. He knew how important Hauk though it was to hang on to his family, but the only family he really got was Sedeks and Abyss’. At least they loved him for the one we was, did Abyss think, and opened the mail. He had got a letter from a music – shop. He often used to order cd’es and smiled when it stood he could come and pick up his new package.
He looked down, and noticed a letter who looked old in the paper. He knew right away it was for Hauk. He used to get letters from Mochna. Back there, they lived in a more old habit kinda way. It was like in the middle ages.
Some times did Hauk get letters from Sedeks wife, Sheila, when she wrote of how things was going ‘back home’, and that she missed him and her kids missed him too. And she used to get them all to write hugs and kisses before she sent it. She was a true fairy. Abyss smiled.

Some times, Hauk did get letters from other friends like Lukumek. He was a engineer and builder, and quite a funny guy too, cuz he always had his weird thoughts and comments.  Hauk liked him and always got in a happy mood around him and when he heard from him, like in a letter. But this was not from Sheila or Lukumek. It was a letter who another person had written.

Abyss got curious and wanted to know who it was, but didn’t open Hauks mail. He had to wait to know who was from until Hauk woke up again for dinner. The though made him start with the dinner right away.

After a while, when he had prepared some home made pizza, he watched the time and saw it was early afternoon. The radio started to tell about news around the world. The TV wasn’t on, but Abyss didn’t liked the TV that much that it mattered. He only liked programs like some cartoons and nature programs. Hauk wasn’t used to TV and it was maybe for the best. They just used to have it on when they was gonna watch movies or Abyss wanted to play X – box with Semema. Other then that, it was quiet in the little  house. Abyss walked to the door and opened it and walked silent in to the bedroom.

He watched the sleeping dragonelf with a lovingly gaze, there he had hooked down in front of the bed and rested his arms on it, and found himself study the face of his beloved one. Hauk slept calm and deep with out knowing he wasn’t alone no more. Abyss had notice that after he got more calm and had quit smoking, he didn’t snore anymore as before. It was a real pain for the hybrid at night, but he was happy it had changed now.

The dragonelf had gone to bed with his pants on, but noting more. He used to sleep one or two hours in the middle of the day when there was noting else to do, and then he always used to sleep like that. The blanket laid just over his shoulders there he slept on his stomach, and he had taken off his eye patch from his blind side. He didn’t needed it all the time.
Abyss smiled warm and stroke some hair away from his muzzle very careful. He was so cute when he slept, it was a pain to woke him up. Suddenly the letter didn’t was so important anymore, neither the dinner. He just wanted to crawl up in the bed and snuggle close to him.

When Hauk didn’t was awake, but was sleeping, quiet, calm and limb, he was absolutely beautiful, did Abyss think for himself. Then he wasn’t so tense of being seen as a macho and strong willed, straight guy, but was just himself.  Abyss had to smile. Hauk fitted to be a little submissive. He would be so much easier to live with if he just loosen up a bit and got more used to be near other types of people as guy and bisexuals, with out thinking they where all after him to violate him and flirt and tease and so, just because he himself was straight.

It was fun though. Kylelle used to give him a kiss on the cheek just to tease, and it was worth a punch in the shoulder. Abyss smiled and lifted his finger to slightly poke his nose.
“Wake up, sleepyhead...” he whispered and stroke his nail over his muzzle to tickle him. Hauk didn’t react at all. Abyss sighed. He slept very heavy some times. He could hear it on his breathing.
“Hauk, you’ve got a letter from Mochna. I have made dinner, too. Come on, you have slept your two hours, that’s enough...!” He ruffled his hair and shaked his shoulder, but Hauk just gave him a drowsy moan and sigh.
“Stubborn ass... even when you sleep!”
The hybrid chose to be a bit evil, and fished out Hauks slim tail in his paw, and tugged it.
“Come on, Hauk, its time to wake up now...!” he tugged again, and took his other paw and dragged the blanket away from him. Hauk groaned tired and irritated and tried to open his eyes.
“Leave me alone...” he mumbled rusty and turned his back to him to sleep on the side with the face to the wall. Abyss came with a light growl and decided to be even more evil. He smiled as he climb a bit up in the bed and nuzzled his nose to his troath.
“I wanna snuggle you...!!”
“Son of a....! Get off...!” Hauk growled and crawled together in the bed to get away from his wet nose. Abyss chuckled and got back again. A bit. Their eyes met.
“There you go when you don’t wake up when I say so.”
“Whaaaat....?! I am tired...! Its only been an hour, leave me be...” Hauk fumbled after the warm blanket and wanted to slumber again, but Abyss removed it and leaned forward.
“If your cold, I could easily warm you, you know.” He smirked.
“No thanks, I want the blanket!”
“Get up.”
“No...!”
“Come on, you can sleep again tonight! Aren’t you hungry? You need to take your medicine before dinner too so get up now...!”
Hauk groaned lazy and rested his head on the pillow. Abyss ended the conversation and grabbed his pillow and the blanket and left the room with both.
“Hey?! Its my pillow!”
“Then come and get it...!”

Finally, after  a while, Hauk got up and followed. Grumpy and not quite awake, but he didn’t say nothing to Abyss. Abyss was used to his behaviour when he had just woke up and just smiled at his rusty brown hair. It was a mess, always.
“There is a letter for you.” he said and sat down by the kitchen table. Hauk yawned and dumped down on the other site and looked at the letter in front of him while he grabbed after the glass to drink water.
“Don’t you want to know who it is from?”
“What’s the fucking rush?” he snapped low and gave him a quick stare. Abyss frowned and looked down. Hauk sighed, and picked up the letter to open it.
“Its probably just Slor or Ariero who writes this time...” he said half to himself, and started to read it after taking a short look at the hybrid. “Did you get any mail?”
“I’ve got my music now. Gonna pick them up later...” Abyss grabbed himself some pizza and started to eat with out waiting any more. Hauk got quiet. He read the letter and was getting pale in the face and more and more serious. Suddenly the hybrid had to ask:
“What’s wrong...?”
“....My dad is coming to visit me this week...Alone.”
“Wow! Isn’t that great?! When is it? Heh, we better not make him believe we live together as a couple when we just are pals....” Abyss tried to laugh, but it was just a false chuckle. The fact was that he was getting nervous. “When does he come?”
“...Today...”

They looked at each other, and yelled shocked out:” Today?!” oO;

“Hauk was in shock when we found him. The though of being alone and after the whole drama and other things that must have happened, was too much for him to bare, and it’s something I feel a deeply sorrow for. He is my responsibility, in the end is every one who is a part of Orlon my responsibility. He fooled me to believe that he could take care of himself, but I see now that he needs us more then anything to get back to what he was before.”
‘Before I ruined him?’ did Abyss think inside his head, and bowed his head shameful. ‘Before I started to inject him with my sick love and push him to the edge of madness?’
“Don’t blame yourself, Abyss...” He looked up. Could Sedek read his minds? The dragonelf didn’t say more, but just looked at him with deep and calm eyes. Abyss couldn’t say anything. It was chilly in the library room.
“Hauk have always had problems to show what he really feels and to know how to talk to others and behave. That’s something I though he would grow out of, but now do I see that it has only done thing worse. That’s why I think its best for him to come home with us for a while, so that he and we can square things up and help him. Abyss, the poor boy hasn’t cried since his mother died in front of his eye...”
‘Yes, he has...’ did Abyss think again, deep, deep inside his mind, and refused to look at the dragonelf. ‘He cried cuz I violated him, left him alone...’ the though just made the hybrid wanted to cry and beg Sedek to forgive him for his brutal behaviour on his dear friend, but he didn’t move. Sedek watched the sad look of his, and frowned.
“If you want, you can come visit him once in a while. Hauk would be glad to see you come to see his old home, I am sure. You are always welcome to us, you know.”
“Thanks but... I think it’s for the best that you take him home and get him to forget all the bad that has happened lately... he needs it... “
“And what do you need, Abyss? Do you have someone to talk to and to be with when we leave?” did Sedek ask kindly.

‘I need to feel that he likes me, just a little bit,’ did Abyss think again. ‘That I can touch him and not create fear or be pushed away when I want to tell him that I love him. I love him so much that I just want to die!!!! CAN’T YOU SEE THAT?! WHY DO YOU TAKE HIM AWAY FROM ME?! WHY?! I NEED HIM!!!! DON’T YOU DARE COME AFTER YEARS AND TAKE HIM AWAY FROM ME!!! HAUK IS MINE!!! TOUCH HIM AND I’LL KILL YOU!!!!! HE IS MINE!!!’
“I will be fine, thank you...” Abyss couldn’t look at the dragonelf no more... he felt his body shaked in the chair. He didn’t wanted to talk about this anymore. Why he suddenly felt such a anger against the Orlon leader he didn’t knew. Maybe it was because of all the things he and Hauk had been through all these years, and now they wanted to take Hauk away from him, put him in a home where he never felt loved or worshiped for the person he was, and think it would be better?! Sedek could feel in the air that the hybrid didn’t like the conversation.
“Abyss...” he said low and hooked up in the chair and tried to make eye contact. Abyss refused quietly.
“Hauk is just gonna stay with us for a while, not forever. He said it himself, he never liked the place in Mochna, but we care for him, and we want to make sure he will be good again. When he is ready, he will be free again to go where ever we wants to. And I think its gonna be home to you and Simle...”
“Why do you think that...?” did Abyss spit low.
“Because he had your neck less with him when we found him.” Abyss looked at him. Sedek was still very calm and serious.
“He had?”
“Yes. And it tells me that you have been his only friend for a long time. Hauk take very good care of his closest friends, in his own way so to say, but you should feel lucky: Hauk doesn’t have  so many friends other then us. He is picky... “

Abyss heart started to swell with joy. But it only made his anger and frustration of the fact that they was gonna take him away from him, even worse to control. He just wanted to find Hauk and take him with him far away, run from them all and keep him safe alone, just with him and his son Lysander and his own daughter Semema.
“What about Semema?” he asked suddenly. His ears peered up at Sedek.
“She will decide if she wants to follow or stay here with you. She has her school here and her friends, so I think she will stay here until Hauk will be better.”
“Better? You talk like he is sick...”
“Hauk is sick, Abyss. He has gastric ulcer, negative energy and doesn’t have control over his temper any more. He is stressed out, Ariero has done his job to search for every trail in his mind and body to find out what’s wrong, and its a lot more. Hauk need help, Abyss. You have maybe done your best, but its not enough.... I am sorry, but as his leader is it my duty to take him with us.”

Abyss could remember every word, and he had asked if he at least could say good bye to Hauk before they took him away. He had found the dragonelf in bed, drowsy and weak and pale as a lifeless love. Abyss got  a moment alone with him, and had started to cry with no control and buried his face down in the bed and claimed his claws gently over his face, kissed his forhead, whispered over and over again: ‘I am sorry, I am so sorry...! Please, forgive me, please! Don’t forget me, don’t hate, don’t leave me with out a word...! Please...! I need you so bad... I need you...with out you, I am gonna die..!’
But all he did get then was a weak breathing and a cold and pale skin to touch. Hauk was weak of the pain and after the shock, and Abyss did understand that he never would get a decent word out of him. And he felt it was all his fault...

Semema wanted to stay with Abyss, and when they left, did Lysander had a though job in cheering them up. Abyss had a nice though about his son. He come home when it was need for him the most, and with out being afraid that no one should hurt him or get in way for a conflict. Abyss was so proud of him. He had done his best to keep the faith in them both. Semema was easy to cheer up, and she looked forward to see her dad again. Simle and Veps too, but Abyss couldn’t help it, but felt a soften pain inside his stomach, scared that they would not let Hauk leave from Mochna when he wanted too and finally could. He felt now that when he was gone from him, he didn’t have no one who could stand by his side and protect him. So was Abyss thoughts...

It did go three months before he finally got a happy letter : Hauk was getting much better, and could come back now. And he wanted to come home to them.

But it also was written that he had to come home to Mochna every third month, as Sedek command. Abyss was glad though. They wanted to keep a eye on him and make sure he lived healthy. They cared after all. Soon, it was a normal thing that he went home every third month, and Abyss got used to it. He waited patiently every time, had his quality time with his son and Semema, his own brothers, Kylelle and Starr, cleaned the house and had his jobs, and when the month was over, Hauk returned home again, and it was just as joyful as always for the hybrid.

Now, nearly 9 months after the drama with Angel and Abyss brother,  could Abyss tell that Hauk had becomed more calm and easier to talk to then before. He had started to learn to control his temper and try to speak instead of yell and hit and get aggressive. Abyss has also learned to not push his luck, and be very careful when he wanted to touch the dragonelf. He didn’t wanted to scare him, so every time he wanted a hug, to pet his back or remove a few strains of hair from his one and only healthy eye, he did it respectfully and almost like a pal instead of a lover. It was hard, but it was at least something. Abyss didn’t complain. He was just happy Hauk was getting more happy now then before.

Simle also could see this good new living of them, and she was often in the house to visit them and be social. Once in a while she did bring with her some of her own friends, just as a little joke to maybe see if Abyss did notice one of them and get in love with a fem. Hauk was easy to enjoy, and got every one to like him, but it only made the hybrid jealous and he didn’t liked none of the friends she took with her if they only wanted to touch Hauk, flirt and giggle like stupid chicks. Some of them even got Simle jealous, so she stopped to bring with her friends in the end. Abyss knew she still had a crush on Hauk, but she never took a step further. She had learned how it was to live with Hauk for a long time ago, and she didn’t took her chance to bring him back with her. She had learned the hard way, and it was best for her kid, Veps and for Hauks daughter, Semema, that they didn’t live under the same roof anymore. Abyss frowned at that. Hauk was getting better! But he didn’t say nothing. He wanted the dragonelf all by himself.

Abyss looked at the bedroom door. Everything was getting better, and it was so good. But one thing did he notice quite often: Hauk was in some of the times, very sad, though he tried to hide it. It made the hybrid depressed and hurt, but a big part of was, in fact, that Hauk never heard something from his father or only sister. Not even around holidays or birthdays. Like they was ashamed by him. When he was home at Mochna, did he never see them or did get the chance to find them. It was like they didn’t wanted to even give him a chance.

It was a though that had made the hybrid very depressed, cuz he knew how Hauk in the past had tried so hard to live up to their names and honour, to be something they would be proud of, but they had never given him an answer back for all his hard work. It was so evil that when he started to think of them, Abyss could feel his rage build up inside him. It was Hauks father who had to be blamed in the first place for Hauks way of dealing his own feelings and act around others. Falkefot had never been a good father for Hauk. Abyss hated him for that, though he never had met him personally. He knew how important Hauk though it was to hang on to his family, but the only family he really got was Sedeks and Abyss’. At least they loved him for the one we was, did Abyss think, and opened the mail. He had got a letter from a music – shop. He often used to order cd’es and smiled when it stood he could come and pick up his new package.
He looked down, and noticed a letter who looked old in the paper. He knew right away it was for Hauk. He used to get letters from Mochna. Back there, they lived in a more old habit kinda way. It was like in the middle ages.
Some times did Hauk get letters from Sedeks wife, Sheila, when she wrote of how things was going ‘back home’, and that she missed him and her kids missed him too. And she used to get them all to write hugs and kisses before she sent it. She was a true fairy. Abyss smiled.

Some times, Hauk did get letters from other friends like Lukumek. He was a engineer and builder, and quite a funny guy too, cuz he always had his weird thoughts and comments.  Hauk liked him and always got in a happy mood around him and when he heard from him, like in a letter. But this was not from Sheila or Lukumek. It was a letter who another person had written.

Abyss got curious and wanted to know who it was, but didn’t open Hauks mail. He had to wait to know who was from until Hauk woke up again for dinner. The though made him start with the dinner right away.

After a while, when he had prepared some home made pizza, he watched the time and saw it was early afternoon. The radio started to tell about news around the world. The TV wasn’t on, but Abyss didn’t liked the TV that much that it mattered. He only liked programs like some cartoons and nature programs. Hauk wasn’t used to TV and it was maybe for the best. They just used to have it on when they was gonna watch movies or Abyss wanted to play X – box with Semema. Other then that, it was quiet in the little  house. Abyss walked to the door and opened it and walked silent in to the bedroom.

He watched the sleeping dragonelf with a lovingly gaze, there he had hooked down in front of the bed and rested his arms on it, and found himself study the face of his beloved one. Hauk slept calm and deep with out knowing he wasn’t alone no more. Abyss had notice that after he got more calm and had quit smoking, he didn’t snore anymore as before. It was a real pain for the hybrid at night, but he was happy it had changed now.

The dragonelf had gone to bed with his pants on, but noting more. He used to sleep one or two hours in the middle of the day when there was noting else to do, and then he always used to sleep like that. The blanket laid just over his shoulders there he slept on his stomach, and he had taken off his eye patch from his blind side. He didn’t needed it all the time.
Abyss smiled warm and stroke some hair away from his muzzle very careful. He was so cute when he slept, it was a pain to woke him up. Suddenly the letter didn’t was so important anymore, neither the dinner. He just wanted to crawl up in the bed and snuggle close to him.

When Hauk didn’t was awake, but was sleeping, quiet, calm and limb, he was absolutely beautiful, did Abyss think for himself. Then he wasn’t so tense of being seen as a macho and strong willed, straight guy, but was just himself.  Abyss had to smile. Hauk fitted to be a little submissive. He would be so much easier to live with if he just loosen up a bit and got more used to be near other types of people as guy and bisexuals, with out thinking they where all after him to violate him and flirt and tease and so, just because he himself was straight.

It was fun though. Kylelle used to give him a kiss on the cheek just to tease, and it was worth a punch in the shoulder. Abyss smiled and lifted his finger to slightly poke his nose.
“Wake up, sleepyhead...” he whispered and stroke his nail over his muzzle to tickle him. Hauk didn’t react at all. Abyss sighed. He slept very heavy some times. He could hear it on his breathing.
“Hauk, you’ve got a letter from Mochna. I have made dinner, too. Come on, you have slept your two hours, that’s enough...!” He ruffled his hair and shaked his shoulder, but Hauk just gave him a drowsy moan and sigh.
“Stubborn ass... even when you sleep!”
The hybrid chose to be a bit evil, and fished out Hauks slim tail in his paw, and tugged it.
“Come on, Hauk, its time to wake up now...!” he tugged again, and took his other paw and dragged the blanket away from him. Hauk groaned tired and irritated and tried to open his eyes.
“Leave me alone...” he mumbled rusty and turned his back to him to sleep on the side with the face to the wall. Abyss came with a light growl and decided to be even more evil. He smiled as he climb a bit up in the bed and nuzzled his nose to his troath.
“I wanna snuggle you...!!”
“Son of a....! Get off...!” Hauk growled and crawled together in the bed to get away from his wet nose. Abyss chuckled and got back again. A bit. Their eyes met.
“There you go when you don’t wake up when I say so.”
“Whaaaat....?! I am tired...! Its only been an hour, leave me be...” Hauk fumbled after the warm blanket and wanted to slumber again, but Abyss removed it and leaned forward.
“If your cold, I could easily warm you, you know.” He smirked.
“No thanks, I want the blanket!”
“Get up.”
“No...!”
“Come on, you can sleep again tonight! Aren’t you hungry? You need to take your medicine before dinner too so get up now...!”
Hauk groaned lazy and rested his head on the pillow. Abyss ended the conversation and grabbed his pillow and the blanket and left the room with both.
“Hey?! Its my pillow!”
“Then come and get it...!”

Finally, after  a while, Hauk got up and followed. Grumpy and not quite awake, but he didn’t say nothing to Abyss. Abyss was used to his behaviour when he had just woke up and just smiled at his rusty brown hair. It was a mess, always.
“There is a letter for you.” he said and sat down by the kitchen table. Hauk yawned and dumped down on the other site and looked at the letter in front of him while he grabbed after the glass to drink water.
“Don’t you want to know who it is from?”
“What’s the fucking rush?” he snapped low and gave him a quick stare. Abyss frowned and looked down. Hauk sighed, and picked up the letter to open it.
“Its probably just Slor or Ariero who writes this time...” he said half to himself, and started to read it after taking a short look at the hybrid. “Did you get any mail?”
“I’ve got my music now. Gonna pick them up later...” Abyss grabbed himself some pizza and started to eat with out waiting any more. Hauk got quiet. He read the letter and was getting pale in the face and more and more serious. Suddenly the hybrid had to ask:
“What’s wrong...?”
“....My dad is coming to visit me this week...Alone.”
“Wow! Isn’t that great?! When is it? Heh, we better not make him believe we live together as a couple when we just are pals....” Abyss tried to laugh, but it was just a false chuckle. The fact was that he was getting nervous. “When does he come?”
“...Today...”

They looked at each other, and yelled shocked out:” Today?!” oO;
