It was a relatively warm, late spring night and the smell of mountain wild flowers and juniper pines was in the air, giving the area a sweet scented and cozy feeling. Along with those softer scents were the thicker aroma of wood fires and evening meals being cooked, the gentle sting of spices tickling the dragonelf's sensitive nose as he leaned in his open bedroom window, gazing out into his homeland. Hauk still didn't know how Abyss had finally convinced him to come down here and finally confront his father about their fall out ever since his mother had died. He was tired of being blamed for something he knew deep down without a doubt wasn't his fault... But the thought I finally standing up to his sire... well... it partly terrified him. His only saving grace was that Abyss had tagged along this time, taking their leader, Sedek, up on his offer to come visit Mochna. Ravn and Ulvrek had come along as well to make things seem less suspicious to others like Falkefot of Abyssinian's presence.
Hauk smiled as he watched the large hybrid playing with the younger dragonelfs down near the center of the village. Creatures like Abyss were unknown in these lands especially since outsiders were rarely allowed into Mochna. The little ones scampered around him, unsure at first before laughing and jumping on him to explore all of the anatomy he had that Hauk's race lacked like horns and wings. Abyss seemed to be having a good time, his grin and laughter that floated on the air giving Hauk a feeling of peace.

It was still odd, thinking of the hybrid as his lover, his mate... especially in this place. And yet, Hauk knew that he didn't feel the way he did for Abyssinian towards anyone else... nor would he. Abyss had claimed many things about Hauk. His friendship, his trust, his body... even his love... if that's what the emotion he felt towards the larger male could be called... for he wasn't even sure himself. And yet, just knowing the hybrid would always be there for him... It meant more to him than he could describe in words... Perhaps that's one of the reasons their relationship and taken the next step into a physical one... because when you share your body with someone willingly... it meant something special... at least that was what he was coming to understand. Back before, he'd slept with any female who was willing... but ever since that first night with Abyss... feeling the difference, not just physically, but emotionally... that connection that meant so much more than just a need to slick primal lusting... it was a feeling he'd never shake... and it was only renewed every time they were together, making him feel warm inside and lightheaded. Making him feel safe in the hybrid's arms. Hauk sighed and looked away as he felt heat spread across his cheeks at the thought of their nights together. Damn that dummy for getting under his skin so much that just thinking about him made the smaller male's blood heat up.
The dragonelf glanced back towards his bedroom door when he heard noise in the living room. Falkefot, his father, was home finally. He'd been here for two days already and still had no idea how to approach his sire about the matter which had been plaguing him for so long. Falkefot had nearly turned him away when he'd first arrived, still bitter about the fight they'd had at Hauk's house late that previous year. But enough calm tones and gentle coaxing had allowed Hauk to get inside and claim his old room again for the short time he planned to be there. Abyssinian was jumping from Sara's to Ravn's to Sedek's homes every night in order to stay off Falkefot's radar. So far so good it seemed. His father hadn't noticed the hybrid yet otherwise he knew hell would have broken out already. Though, it seemed improbable considering how hard it was to miss a large winged hybrid. However, Abyss had an amazing nose for scents, and after his fight with Falkefot the last time they'd met, his was a scent permanently registered in his brain, and Abyss could hide and be quite stealthy when he chose to be. Hauk assumed that Abyss could tell when his father was coming from a mile off and would quickly disappear into the shadows to keep his whereabouts unknown.
He went into the main room, nodding softly to his father.

“Evening... How was your day?”
“Same as any other day Hauk... Did you visit your sister today?”
“Yes Father... I went to see Sara.”
Falkefot nodded softly, setting his things down before going to the kitchen and sniffing around for something that smelled appetizing.
“How is she?”
Hauk looked over at his father, leaning on the back of the couch.
“Just fine...”
“That's good...”
The younger dragonelf sighed as he looked at his father in silence. As the silence grew however, he began to feel smothered by it and soon it was almost over powering.
“A-aren't you going to ask me how I am?”
“Would it really matter to you if I didn't? You're right in front of me... I can see that you're fine.”
Falkefot replied without turning to his son, his voice mild and uninterested.
“And would it really matter to you if it did bother me that you never ask?”
The older male turned at that, looking at his younger child with hard eyes. He gazed for a moment at Hauk and crossed his arms.
“What's all this about? You're not usually this... emotional... Though I suppose you are rather emotional nowadays... You were the last time I saw you. You and that hybrid friend of yours...”
“Leave Abyss out of this Father... He's... always been more open with his emotions.”
“Aye, I noticed... especially anger...”
Falkefot rubbed his neck in memory of their last encounter when the hybrid and nearly strangled him in rage. Hauk furrowed his brows at that and looked down.
“He just got upset because you hit me... That's all... He's really quite a gentle guy... Usually...”
Hauk rubbed his arms slightly, his brows still knit as he looked at his distant father.
“Hmph... Well, regardless... He had no right to interfere with our business... How I deal with you is between us... It's how I've always raised you.”
“Not always.... Only since mom died...”
Hauk's voice seethed a bit at that and he narrowed his good eye, the other one hidden behind his eye patch. Falkefot looked shocked by Hauk's words, staring at him in disbelief.
“W-what did you say?”

Well, Hauk hadn't expected to bring the tender subject up like this, but it was out there now, and now was as good a time as any... He took a deep breath and locked gazes with his father.
“You heard me... You used to be kind to me... supportive... You used to care... But ever since mom died, you've been so cold to me... and nothing I do is good enough for you. I can never live up to your expectations... because every time I excel at something, your expectations get higher, so I can never be good enough. I'm sorry mom died Dad... and not a day goes by that I don't wish she was still here... Wish that I could take her place... so that you'd be happy again. I know you miss her... we all do... and if I could go back and take her place... I would.”
Falkefot tensed and bared his teeth, letting out an angry hiss but his eyes were obviously pained. He looked away for a moment, his voice low and spiteful.
“Yeah well, it's easy to say all that... but too bad you can't... huh?”
Hauk gasped, his eye wide is surprise at his father's hurtful words. He didn't know what to say... how to respond. That one sentence cut him deeper than anything his father had ever said to him before, hurt more than any hit he'd ever received. The younger dragonelf swallowed hard and pushed off the couch, turning for the door. Falkefot looked back at him.
“Where are you going Hauk?”
“Out... I need to be alone for a little while...”
“When will you be home?”
Hauk turned to his father, his eye holding an ocean of pain, but he stood tall, his voice low.
“Since when do you care?”
With that the younger male turned and headed out into the fading light of the early evening. He walked fast at first, needing to get as far away from that house as possible, his hands driven deep into his pockets and his head down. Yet, as he started to trail through the woods, following the old hunting paths that snaked their way through the thick forest, his pace slowed and he took a deep and burdened breath.

“Why did I even come here...?”
“To make peace with your past....”
Jumping in surprise, Hauk whirled to see the hybrid sitting on a turned over log behind him.
“A-Abyss.... How long have you been following me?”
“Since you left the village... You looked upset...”
“That's an understatement...”
Hauk mumbled quietly under his breath, his ears shifting back a bit as his lover stood and walked over to him, running a gentle paw over his cheek.
“What's wrong? Things still not going well with your father?”
“You could say that....”
“What is it?”
The smaller male looked away, his eye slipping closed.
“I don't want to talk about it...”
“Well luv, what's the good of me tagging along if you can't talk to me?”
“..... I guess that's true....”
“Well?”
Abyss playfully nudged his lover, stroking him softly behind his ear. Hauk murred at that, his eye shading slightly at the soothing contact and a small chill traveling his spine. He looked up at his companion, his eye a bit watery with tears. Abyss was the only person allowed to see him cry. And it wasn't even on purpose... but the hybrid had earned that right.
“.... We started to talk about mom.... and .... He told me that he wished it had been me that died instead of her... I.... I never thought... he hated me that much...”
The dragonelf pinned his ears, his head bowing down in pain. The hybrid knit his brows in sympathy for his mate's anguish, pulling him close and hugging him in a tender embrace. Hauk leaned into it with a heavy sigh, accustomed to the larger males close contact now and often comforted by it... though he'd never admit it to anyone else but Abyss.
“I don't think he hates you Hauk, nor that he wishes you dead instead of her... He's just a man who hasn't learned how to deal with his grief and so he takes it out on others... Even those he loves most.”
“He doesn't love me... The way he looks at me... it's like I'm not even his son...”
“Is that what you believe?”
“I don't know anymore... I'm just tired of never being good enough... of not being able to make him happy that I DO have a daughter... that I work and have my own house... with you...”
“ Does he know about us?”
“N-no... I... I can't tell him... It'll make him more disappointed in me... And... it's not that I don't want to... cause I'm not ashamed of you... or us... it's just... him.”
“Sounds to me, like you really have nothing to loose...”
“I have you...”
Abyssinian stopped and looked down at his mate, a bit surprised at the confession. He knit his brows softly and lifted his lover's chin to look at him.
“Hauk...”
The dragonelf lifted a hand and gently held Abyss's cheek, drawing him down into a soft kiss. The hybrid's eyes went wide for a moment in surprise at his usually timid lover initiating a kiss but he quickly relaxed into it, his eyes slipping closed and his arms wrapping Hauk into a tender and protective embrace. As the kiss parted, Hauk rested his head on the larger male's chest, feeling once again the safety in his arms. He blinked slowly, curling his fingers into the hybrid's furry chest.

“Abyss...?”
“Hn...?”
“You remember.... what you told me back at home? .... What our sign would be?”
Abyss blinked at that before a soft smile spread across his muzzle and he caressed Hauk's now red cheek as the smaller male blushed in embarrassment.
“Aye... I remember. And that's all you have to say... I'll take care of you babe...”
The dragonelf smiled softly at that and nodded, wrapping his arms timidly at first around his mate's broad shoulders as he was lifted up to rest on Abyssinian's waist. He shivered as he was pushed back against the solid brace of an old oak, the hybrids paws delicately mapping out his smaller body. Hauk swallowed hard and squeezed his eye shut as he felt Abyssinian slowly unbutton his pants to loosen them and trail his paws back under the hem to tease the sensitive flesh of his ass and tail base. They'd never done anything like this in the open before. True enough they were pretty deep in the forest, but anyone could follow their scent trail and discover them. It made Hauk give out a small whimper of fear.
Abyss paused his ministrations and looked at his lover with tenderness.
“Shh... Don't be afraid babe...”
“W-we've never d-done this... out in the open...”
“I know... it's new... and exciting... Yeah?”
“It's embarrassing in the open!”
Hauk pouted and looked down shyly, unable to face his lover. The hybrid smiled, knowing full well how his mate always needed a little extra push of incentive when it came to having sex... anywhere. It was cute, though he'd never tell Hauk that for fear of being punched.
“Don't worry so much Hauk.... We're safe here... No one will spot us because I'll hear them first... or smell them... You can trust me... ok?”
“But...”
“Shh... trust me.”
“.....Okay.”
Abyss nodded softly, smiling and tipping his head to the side to capture his lover's lips. Hauk tensed for a moment before responding with a hungry passion, his ears laying flat and his cheeks flushed a rosy hue. Abyssinian murred deeply pulling his lovers pants down more to release him from his fabric confines and running his paws along his lover's supple rear. Hauk arched slightly and let out a soft groan, his smaller frame trembling at the larger males touch.
“A-Abyss....”
“Aye?”
“....I...uh...d-don't.”
“Don't what? You want me to stop?”
“N-no... don't stop... Just... d-don't tease...”
“You need me that bad huh?”
The dragonelf blushed deeply, hiding his face timidly in Abyss's chest and shivering against him.
“Y-yes.”
The hybrid smiled broadly at his love's meek confession. He pushed him back into the tree again, releasing himself and pressing their heated bodies close, making the smaller male whimper again, but this time in what sounded like anticipation.
“Wrap your legs around me Hauk...”
Nodding, the dragonelf did as he was told, wrapping his legs around his lover's waist and hooking his hooves so that he wouldn't slide. He shivered as he watched Abyss cover two of his digits with saliva, squeezing his eye shut tight and letting out a cut gasp at feeling them press into his tight entrance. Hauk's body jolted and he let out a pleasured moan as he felt Abyss' claws delicately caress his inner wall, making him shudder and writhe. Burying his face into the hybrids chest as the larger male scissored his digits to spread him, Hauk let out a low needy whimper of his lover's name, tentatively pushing himself down more.
“Mm, you're a bit more eager than usual love...”
“S-shut up and.... t-take me already... p-please!”
Abyss had to chuckle softly, but his tone became quiet and a bit more serious.
“I don't have any lube with me... It might hurt...”
Hauk looked up at the warning, his teary eye a bit fearful and his ears pressed back as he swallowed harder than usual. He chewed his bottom lip for a moment, casting his eye down to the forest floor in thought before looking up at his mate, his voice a hushed whisper.

“J-just... go slow...”
“You sure babe?”
“Y-yeah...”
Hauk didn't really look too sure in all truth, but Abyssinian admired his lover's resolve. He smiled tenderly and nuzzled Hauk under the chin, knowing the action comforted him when he was upset or nervous.
“You tell me if you need me to stop... cause you know I will...”
The dragonelf nodded meekly in agreement and tightened his muscles around Abyss' digits to urge him to continue. Abyss gave him a slight nod of consent and removed his digits, spitting into his paw and coating his shaft with it to ease the friction a bit. Hauk arched his eyebrows at that and gave his lover a broken smile, amused despite himself at the distinctively male way of compensating. He quickly tensed however at feeling his mate push into him, squeezing his eye shut and grabbing onto Abyssinian tightly, a weak cry of initial discomfort escaping him.
“I-It really hurts!”
Abyss continued to push in though, knowing with his instincts that if Hauk didn't adjust to it all at once, he wouldn't be able to at all. He grunted softly as he hilted himself, bracing his mate between himself and the tree and finally taking a pause, the un-eased friction being quite intense for both of them. Hauk trembled hard, his nerves feeling like they were on fire and his breath escaping him in heavy pants due to the thick invasion. He perked his ears slightly and looked up at hearing Abyss murmur something against his neck.
“W-what?”
“I said... I know it must be more uncomfortable than you're used to... but if you allow your self to relax... you'll loosen up and it'll be more enjoyable... Cause frankly babe... you've got me completely locked inside you right now... I literally can't move.”
The hybrid chuckled low at seeing his lover's eye grow wide and his beautiful face flood with a bright red blush.
“I... uh... s-sorry! I'm trying it's just... this is... well... I...”
Abyss laughed again softly and hushed his love, nuzzling him again.
“Shh... don't get so flustered... it's ok... you're not hurting me... it's actually kinda cozy in here, all wrapped up in you.”
“A-ABYSS!! S-shut up!!”
The hybrid grinned impishly, knowing how much it embarrassed Hauk to hear sexual talk like that... but he was so adorable when he got all worked up, the hybrid really couldn't help himself. Despite his blush though, Hauk was grinning a bit and his body relaxed considerably.  Abyss murred low in his chest with approval and captured Hauk's chin, lifting his head so that he could steal a heated kiss. Hauk blinked in surprise for a moment before his eye hooded and he pressed back into his lover to deepen the passion heavy dance of their tongues, a shiver coursing his spine at feeling the hybrids hard ball stud caress his tongue teasingly. He groaned into his lover's mouth, the heat in his body rising as his lust pushed back any of his fears and inhibitions.  He arched as Abyss shifted his hips, pulling out of him half way only to sink back in, never breaking the lip lock. Although each movement was slow and testing at first, a deep steady rhythm was developed between them and the dragonelf craned his head back against the tree trunk as he rode waves of pleasure spiked with just the right amount of pain to keep him trembling and wanting more. Sweat rolled across the exposed curves of his body, the rest getting caught in his shirt and half disrobed pants that bunched right above his knees and against Abyss's lean, flexing torso as he continued to rock into his needy partner. Their husky voices were caught by the trees above them as all of the forest seemed to hush and cocoon them into a private haven for their rapture.

Abyss lifted one of his paws to brace against the old oak they leaned on, his claws digging deep, raw gashes into the soft bark, an everlasting mark of their mating... and a secret their forest would keep for them alone. He groaned deeply against Hauk's sweat slicked neck, lapping at the sensitive flesh and nipping on occasion to gain a pleasured sigh or gasp to escape his beloved. He looked up slowly with glassy eyes at hearing his name panted in yearning from Hauk's parted lips, staring at him intently. Hauk weakly gazed back at him, their eyes reflecting each other for just a moment, through it seemed that they held each other in their eyes like that for a lifetime. The shared gaze broke as Hauk's head snapped back and he let out cry of ecstasy, his need finding it's release between them and resting hot and wet on his quivering stomach. Abyssinian's breath hitched slightly as he watched his lover climax, the sight of his intense pleasure combined with how Hauk locked around him sent delicious chills through the hybrid's whole body and he bowed his head against the smaller male's chest, finding his own release of the hot liquid pleasure that had been building in his groin. He let out a moan of his lover's name as he pushed in deep and filled the dragonelf with liquid fire, making Hauk groan softly and squirm. And then there was all but silence, save for the hushed pants of the two lovers who rested with their bodies entwined and locked together at the base of the old oak that had cradled their passion
; the quiet trees that watched them and gave them shelter being the only witnesses.

After they had time to regain their strength and compose themselves, the two males slowly made their way back towards the village, Hauk's hand tenderly cradled in Abyssinian's larger paw. Hauk wasn't sure why they were holding hands, but it was surprisingly nice... and comforting that they could be affectionate after their intimacy. Their walk back was a quiet one, the sound of leaves and twigs crunching under their hooves, but the silence was comfortable, peaceful... as if they knew no words were needed between them at that moment.
Abyss hung back as they neared the edge of the forest, knowing he had to keep his presence low key in the village when Falkefot was home. Hauk looked back at his lover, his rich brown eye resting softly on the larger male. The hybrid gave him a warm smile and leaned against one of the trees.
“Go ahead and go home love... Now that you're not as tense, you should be able to reason with him with a clearer head.”
“Y'think so? He's as stubborn as I am...”
“Aye... but with enough time... I even managed to bring you around... didn't I? Don't be afraid to be persistent... It pays off if you put enough effort into it.”
Hauk blushed softly but a smile moved across his lips as he tipped his head in a subtle nod.
“...Thanks... Abyss.”
“For what?”
“For... Never letting me down. For sticking with me even when I was sure their were times you got so fed up you wanted to just walk out. Just... Thanks for not leaving me... That's all.”
“No need to thank me for that. How could I leave what I love most? For any reason?”
The dragonelf's smile deepened and he bowed his head a bit shyly, running a hand through his unruly rusty colored hair.
“...Yeah... I guess...”
He chuckled softly and turned, looking back at his village then to Abyss.
“Go babe... I'll check in on you later...”
“...Promise?”
The hybrid smiled and pulled his mate closer, kissing him tenderly.
“... I promise... Now go, before he thinks you were ambushed in the woods.”
“I WAS ambushed in the woods... thanks to you Aby.”
“You asked for it... literally.”
They both grinned at each other, a soft chuckle shared between themselves. Hauk turned back to the village and started down the path, glancing over his shoulder.
“You promised... remember.”
“I'll be there...”
Abyss lifted his paw in a temporary farewell as Hauk moved back towards his house. The dragonelf took one more look over his shoulder, but the hybrid had already vanished into the shadows.
Stepping back into his house was like walking from a fantasy into a nightmare. Falkefot was waiting for him, a suspicious scowl on his face as he looked up from his dinner. Hauk sighed, trying to ignore him as he headed for the bathroom. His father's hand came out to grab his wrist and hold him in place. The younger dragonelf paused and looked back at his sire with an emotionless eye.

“Where have you been?”
“I told you.... out.”
Falkefot sniffed cautiously at Hauk, scenting the trees on him and something more.
“You smell like sex....”
Hauk blushed a bit, but kept his cool.
“So? It's not entirely unusual for me you know...”
“Hn... another one of your one night stands eh? Figures.... You start an argument and walk out on it to go blow off some steam with one of your cheap girls....”
The one-eyed male turned at that, almost growling as his fists tensed but he relaxed a bit as Falkefot stared at him as if egging him on.... daring him to swing the first blow. Hauk shook his head and looked down.
“Actually... I haven't had any one night stands in many months... I have someone more special to me than that...”
Falkefot wasn't quiet expecting that news and he noticeably perked up, blinking at the younger male in curiosity.
“You've settled down?”
“I guess you could say that... We live together and share the same bed...and they're the only one I sleep with anymore...”
The larger male grinned and patted his sons arm at that.
“Well done! I knew you could settle down if you put some effort into it Hauk! Why didn't you tell me you had a girl?”
Hauk tensed a bit and looked down, his bangs shading his good eye.

“You never asked... you assumed I didn't have anyone....”
“Had you told me, then I'd have no reason to assume anything, would I? So.... when do I get to meet her? I bet she's lovely... you always had good taste....”
Hauk knit his brows, not being able to believe the words coming out of his father's mouth. He looked up with angry confusion.
“Since when have you ever thought that?! Besides.... you both have already met....”
Falkefot seemed to ponder this and shrugged softly.
“Well I'm just glad you've settled down and stopped living the bachelor life... No more living with that over grown rug of a hybrid... Now you can focus on starting a family.”
Hauk finally let the growl come as he glared at his sire, his jaw tense.
“I have a daughter.... you know that..... and I already told you, I can't have anymore kids... it's not possible so stop pushing! And leave Abyss alone! He's my friend and I won't have you bad mouth him in front of me....”
Falkefot just stared at the younger male, his eyes hardening again.
“You have a daughter who was born out of marriage and takes after your stubborn ways more than I care to  accept... and you can have more children if you were willing to try a little harder Hauk...”
The younger male's expression turned to one of shock before he looked away and shook his head, pulling his wrist free.
“Forget it... you're impossible to talk to... It doesn't matter what I do... It'll never be good enough anyway.... so I give up trying to please you father... You're the stubborn one... not me...”
He turned and headed into the bathroom for a hot shower to ease the tension in some of his muscles and get the hybrids scent off him for a bit, thankful that his father hadn't recognized it. Falkefot stayed quiet as he watched after him, his eyes looking down softly as the door closed and a regretful frown paining his muzzle.
“....Perhaps I am being stubborn in all this madness...”
After his shower, Hauk went and shut himself in his room, no longer caring to face his father that night. He sighed heavily as he sat on his bed, glancing weakly at a photo on his desk of his mother and Sara and himself when they were kids... they looked happy... It had been taken only a few months before she had died. He frowned deeply, lowering his head into one hand as tears brimmed in his eyes. Why did she have to die? Why couldn't she have been stronger, or Hauk less stupid...? She'd died trying to get back their dog... it was just a pet... more easily replaced than a mother... but... Did that make it his fault? No... it wasn't his fault... he was just a kid... he couldn't have seen what would happen, the pain that would follow for all of them. Hauk jumped at hearing a soft tapping on his window. He blinked softly at the hybrid outside who was smiling warmly at him from the other side of the glass. Hauk stood and walked over, opening the window and smiling faintly as Abyss leaned in on the sill, gazing up at his mate.

“You came back...”
“I promised I would...”
Hauk smiled and nodded at that, leaning on the sill himself. Abyssinian saw the tears in his lover's eye and sighed softly, touching his cheek.
“Things still not turning out then?”
“No... not at all... I told him I'd settled down with someone... and...”
“He thought it was a woman?”
The smaller male nodded slowly, his eye hooded softly.
“I don't think I'll ever be able to be the son he wanted... I'm.... I'm so ready to just give up completely Abyss...”
The hybrid watched him carefully for a moment before speaking softly.
“Can I come in?”
“He's still awake... I can't let you in right now...”
“What if I came in through the window?”
“ I... uh.... I guess.... You can fit?”
Abyssinian chuckled softly and nodded, pushing his top half in through the window and folding his wings in tight as he wriggled the rest of the way, landing on the floor with a quiet thud. Hauk blinked at his lover in amusement and shut the window again, looking down at Abyss.
“Well... That was graceful...”
Abyss smirked at him as he stood and dusted himself off, looking around the small room. His gaze landed on the photo and he walked over to it, delicately picking it up as Hauk watched quietly.
“This your mom?”
The hybrid glanced over curiously, smiling at Hauk's subtle nod and looking back at the photograph.
“... She's really pretty...”
“Yeah... she was...”
Abyss blinked at the somber tone in Hauk's voice as he set the frame down and looked back at his love, his eyes soft.
“You really miss her, huh?”
Hauk wrapped his arms around himself, huddling down a bit and tipped his head quietly.
“...Everyday...”
The larger male sighed deeply, that ever comforting smile still on his lips.
“I bet that makes her happy... knowing that she was so loved... I never had a mother... Sometimes I wish I did... but then I remember how bad Angel was and get scared that my mother may have been just as bad... if not worse... You were lucky to have such a beautiful and gentle looking mother...”

Hauk smiled weakly at that, having to agree...  He glanced up slowly as Abyss approached him, gazing into his lover's bright two-toned eyes. Abyss lifted a paw and brushed the hair back from Hauk's face, touching his cheek in the process and making the smaller male shiver. The hybrid sighed, leaning close to whisper against his mate's ear.
“It hurts me... seeing you in this kind of pain... I wish I could just take it all away from you my love... I want to make you feel better... will you let me?”
His free paw moved down to grasp Hauk's still only towel covered hip, drawing him close. Hauk blushed and closed his eye softly, letting out a soft needy groan of acceptance as he gently placed one hand on top of the paw at his side, the other curling into Abyss' thick chest fur as a shiver coursed his spine. The hybrid smiled and trailed his tongue against his lover's sensitive neck, loving the chills it sent through the smaller body pressed against him. He pulled Hauk's chin up towards him, kissing him passionately deep so that the dragonelf tensed and then nearly melted against him. Hauk let out a cut gasp of pleasure as his towel was loosed and slid to the floor, his nude body pressed and trembling against Abyssinian's who only had a pair of torn jeans on.
“A-Abyss....”
The larger male inhaled deeply and murred against his lover's lips.
“Mm... you don't smell like me anymore... We'll have to change that, won't we babe?”
Hauk shivered and nodded eagerly, the more times he was with the hybrid in private, the more open he became in agreeing to achieving the pleasure they both desired. Abyss turned them and sat on the edge of Hauk's soft bed, releasing himself from his fabric confines before pulling Hauk down to straddle his lap, claiming another fiery kiss that made them both groan softly in the darkness. Abyss' paws trailed down his lovers back as they're tongues dueled for control, coming to grasp Hauk's ass and pull him closer so their erections rubbed together. The dragonelf moaned into his mate's mouth, a bright blush on his cheeks and his breath escaping him in heated pants.
“A-Abyss.....have t-to be.... quiet.......”
“Well you're the one making all the noise babe....”
“S-shut up...”
Abyss chuckled low as he leaned forward and captured one of Hauk's hard nubs between his teeth, pinching it and licking with his studded tongue and making the smaller male tense and shudder in pleasure. Hauk groaned deep and low, his hands lifting to tangle in his lover's azure hair as he rocked his hips forward with need.

Abyss smiled warmly and licked his mouth gently while he caressed his ass playfully.  He loved to hear his lover moan shy and shudder by his touch, but as he nibbled Hauk's neck and moved him closer to his erection, he could hear a stuttered voice whisper in his ear.
“Abyss... we c-cant...”
The hybrid stopped and moved his head back to look at his lover. Hauk's eye looked intense at him, filled with need but also a inner fear. Fear to be caught in the act. Abyss blinked and got a soft look in his face. He could feel how tense his body was, sitting on his lap. Hauk shook his head low and looked even more unhappy then before.
“I’m sorry... I... I can't... Not in a place like...”
“It’s ok, my luv... I don’t want to force you...”
The hybrid stroked a paw over his cheek and tried to smile comforting, though he most wanted to continue and make him forget time itself and this place and fill him up with his own strength and warmth. Hauk blinked and sighed deep as he lowered his head shamefully. Suddenly, he felt the hybrids hand tense at his face, his whole body getting tense. Hauk could feel a unbelievable chill down his back, as he raised his head and  saw Abyss’ eyes lock on the door, his ears perked.
Then he could hear it too. Hoof steps.

“Hide...!”
Hauk jumped off  his lap like  lightning and grabbed himself a pair of  deep brown pants from his  chair next to the door, while  Abyss got his own on in a hurry.
“If he find you here are we...!”
Hauk didn’t got the chance to end the sentence, cause just when he got the first two of the buttons on,  and gazed at the door, they could hear a knock on the other side and see it open right after.
“...dead.”

Abyss felt he should hide, but stood right behind his lover, narrowing his eyes at the dragonelf in the doorway. He wouldn’t hide and leave Hauk alone. Right there and then they could  feel the air freeze around them and time die for a heart stopping moment. Hauk looked shocked and pale in the face at his sire in the door.

“...F-father...”
Falkefot’s eyes studied them both, wide with surprise and a hidden feeling of growing rage. He could clearly see in his offspring’s eyes that a crime in their home was done, and he didn’t needed to think twice as he looked at the half naked hybrid who snarled low at him.
“D-dad, I... it isn’t...”
Hauk shivered in fright, trying to say something clever but his mouth was  dry as sand, and his body in slight pain from the sudden stop in their intimate game. Falkefot gave him a gaze as dark as  the deepest sea, before he turned in the door and walked away.

“Finally... some private time...”  Abyss huffed and came closer, but Hauk tended to follow the dragonelf. Abyss grabbed his wrist and caught his gaze.
“Hauk, its best that...”
“No, I cant let this end like this! Let me go!”
Hauk, struggled to get loose from him, and Abyss had to let him run after his father. Maybe this was necessary for them all in the end? Maybe they finally would make peace with it all...?

Outside the dark was about to come, and heavy gray clouds made the sky and the air moist with light rain. It was afternoon, and the dragonelfs were busy to get home and settle down for the evening. The streets in the village were lit up with torches and the ground was wet and slippery.
Falkefot walked steady and with no directions. Pushing others away to get away from the house, to get away from it all he had just seen. He couldn’t believe it...! Why...? Why?!
“Dad! Dad, please wait! Wait!”
He turned and saw Hauk run after him, and felt his chest swell with frustration and nameless anger. The two dragonelfs met, and he hit his son so hard over his face that he tripped with a groan and fell on the ground.  He just stood and watched him struggle to get up again, dizzy by the hard attack and with blood dripping from his mouth. Dragonelfs nearby had stopped and looked nervously at them.
“Is this your payment for all those years? Is this how you want your family to end?” Falkefot grabbed his sons throat and got him up on his hooves. Hauk gasped for breathe and dug his nails into the other dragonelfs hard fist. Their gaze met, and Falkefot’s face was pale with anger and  instinctive reaction of what he hated.
“I never thought you could sink this low, kid...! Never! You're just a stupid son of a bitch! I bet that hybrid has done something to you! TELL ME WHAT SPELL HE HAS ON YOU, YOU BASTARD!”
“Please let me explain...! Its not...! Agh!”
Falkefot threw him hard onto the ground so a hard thud resounded through the air.  He snarled aggressively and kicked him in the back so his face got pushed into the mud.
“Let them all see what kind of failure you are as a warrior, kid! Why not let the whole fucking Mochna know that you let a big monster use you as a pet! Let the ones you are suppose to protect and make safe in this world see that their ‘warrior’ is nothing more then a bitch! You gave up too easily for his spell, so let me get rid of him once and for all! I will not let this happen any more!”

Falkefot grabbed one of the torches and yelled to the crowd that had gathered together as more and more dragonelfs saw what was going on, and as the rumor spread fast like the wind over high grass.
“No! You don’t understand!”
Hauk got up on his knees and looked frustrated at him.
“The monster is dangerous! We cant let this happen to everyone, as it has to this kid! I saw his curse over him, he will get you all!”
The crowd of about 15 dragonelfs gasped in shock by the news, and though they all had seen the hybrid in their village, none of them actually thought that he was dangerous. Not until this night when Falkefot made them listen with his rage and proof.
“What can we do?!”
One of them asked nervously, as a mother held her child closer.
“We must warn our leader!”
“Will he kill us?!”
“Is this true?”
“No! You must listen to me! Don’t do anything, its all a misunderstanding!”
Hauk yelled at them and got up on his hooves.
“The boy is in the hybrids spell! I tell you all, the hybrid is dangerous! It will get you all in the end if we don’t react now and kill him! Kill him before he kills your child or make them to his own slaves!”
There was already panic in the crowd as some of them saw a winged shadow move across a wall in the light from the torches. Falkefot growled furious and pushed Hauk down again, holding the torch near his head to light up his face.
“And you, you will get the help you need to get free from this mad animal! I will assure you that from this day, after the beast is killed, will I make you one of the family as you were meant to be in the first place! Don’t assume I will not  try to get you on the right track just because I am not your real father!”
“What...?!”
Hauk gasped with no sound, and looked shocked at his sire. His eyes burned in the light from the torch, and Falkefot looked right into them.
“Stop the animal! We must protect our children!”
“Good heaven, he is here!”
“Get your weapons! Warn our leader somebody! Now!”

“No...”
Hauk shivered and could taste mud in his mouth, mixed with his own blood. Falkefot's eyes burned with a inner flame of hate in rhythm with the fire from the torch. There was no lie in those eyes, only desperation and fear for the unknown.
Suddenly  they could hear a woman scream loud as she saw the hybrid approach slowly out from the shadows, still wearing just his jeans, and slightly wet in his fur from the dusky rain. Hauk got his gaze, and was about to get up when Falkefot grabbed his hair to hold him back. Abyss snarled and showed his teeth as a warning.
“Come closer and I will make sure that you will die quickly, beast...!”
“Abyss, just go! Go get Sedek before they get too many! Hurry!”
Hauk grabbed Falkefot's wrist and  tried to get loose from him, but the dragonelf held him in a hard grip and kept his eyes on the hybrid. Abyss growled deep in his chest and came one step closer.
“Arrows, fire, and swords don’t bite on me... I'll just let the dragonelfs get their leader for me. Meanwhile, I want you to let him go, you bastard...”
“You will not get the chance to fill his head with your curse and your sick living! I have had enough from you! This time are you in my territory! You will not get away with this now!”
“Let... him...go...!”

The crowd had become bigger and bigger, and this time they had gathered a army of dragonelfs who pointed their bows and arrows at the hybrid from all around. Just waiting for the moment where he would get mad and attack one of them. But Abyss stood still, folding his wings high up in the air to look bigger and more scary as he growled at Falkefot. Hauk shouted in frustrated and hit the dragonelf in the leg to make him loose the grip on his hair. Falkefot just grunted and kicked his knee in his face, something that made the hybrid open his mouth with a terrifying roar so the whole air shook by it. Falkefot held the torch up to him and snarled back.
“That’s right, animal! Stay where you are! Touch one of us, and we will kill you right away!”
“Leave him alone!”
Hauk pushed his hoof down on the ground, and lunged into Falkefot in the same move, so they tripped and fell to the ground. Falkefot lost his torch with a grunt, and at the same time the grip in Hauk's hair as he managed to get up and run away from him.
Abyss grabbed his lovers arms as they met again, and pushed him to stand behind him as Falkefot had gotten up again.

“You little dog...!”
He growled and ripped one of the dragonelfs bow and arrow out from his hands, and pointed at the hybrid before he could get the chance to attack. The crowd gasped and froze. Abyss growled low from deep in his chest.
“Your head will make a great trophy over the fireplace in Mochna...!”
“No! Don’t!”
Hauk shouted when he saw him aim for the hybrids heart. Hauk ran towards him, and placed himself in front of the hybrid who blinked  in surprise by the move. Falkefot stopped and looked at him with a slight curiosity in his fiery eyes.
“If you want to kill him then you might just kill me too! I will not move!”
“Hauk, get away...”
Abyss grabbed his arm, but Hauk pushed him away with out taking his gaze away from Falkefot.
“Move away, kid!”
“No! I will not let you decide my life anymore! If you don’t see me as your son, why should I even care what you want from me?! I've never made you happy! I have had enough! You and your lies can go to hell!”
“That’s the truth, kid! You are not my son! I just got the curse from your fucking mother that it was my job to raise you! That bitch screwed another man just because I could only give her a daughter and not a son as she wanted! As I wanted!! I have held onto that secret for over 30 years, and now I have had more then enough with you! I am sorry this is the way you had to know it, but you never gave me any choice to let you know it in a better time! You can blame it all on your hybrid! He never let me get the chance!”
“To what? Hit him and yell at him?!”
Abyss growled quickly, and made Falkefot greet his teeth. Hauk didn’t know what more to say, he was shocked by it all and had tears in his eyes has he stood in his place, feeling every dragonelf look at him. The great Orlon warrior... this was how it had to end...

“Let me come trough! Move away!”
The rough and deep voice from outside the crowd made them all move in surprise, except for the hybrid, Hauk and Falkefot. Hauk saw from the left that the crowd moved to the side to let their leader get to the very middle of the circle. He felt his heart sink inside his chest as he looked at his leader and his angry, green eyes.
“Everyone, lower your bows! Stop this nonsense right away!”
“But, lord, the monster...!”
“Abyss is not a monster more then what you force him to be! Get those bows away now, it's a order! Leave them alone!”
Falkefot managed to get Sedek's eyes to look at him, and kept his bow and arrow straight on Hauk and Abyss all the time.

“Your Highness, he is not safe to have in this village! I saw him, he has a spell on...!”
“I will not repeat myself, Mr. Arvelèn! Stop this foolishness!”
Sedek lifted his one arm  and pointed at Falkefot as he narrowed his eyes. Just in a second they could see his green eyes glow up as his telekinesis  powers nudged the bow and the arrow out of the dragonelf's hands and let them fly through the air and in the leaders open palm. Falkefot gasped and tensed. Hauk took a deep breathe and looked at his master.
Sedek let one of the dragonelfs from the crowd handle the weapons, and moved closer. He placed his hands behind his back as he faced the group.
“I want you three to come to my room so we can discus this like real men, instead of with this ridiculous fighting! Hauk, I will specially have a talk to you, and to you, Mr. Arvelèn!”
Hauk just lowered his head submissively and nodded weakly. Falkefot narrowed his eyes and flattened his ears in thought of being in the same room as the hybrid. Abyss just kept quiet and rested his paws on his lovers shoulders.
Sedek turned half around to face the nervous crowd of dragonelfs who looked at them.
“Abyss is no threat for this village, so you can all go home and let this scene end here and now. I can assure you  all that he will not harm any of you. You all have my word.”
“Are you sure, Master...?”
A little dragonelf girl asked whisperingly as she came a bit closer, out from the crowd. It was Mink, one of the orphan children that belonged to the midwife Rakel Sul who lived in the fort with Sedek and his family. Mink didn’t talk much, and was mostly like a shadow, with her frail body, just 10 years old, and her short wild, sand blond hair and ice blue eyes. But when she talked, she really had a good reason for it. The crowd was silent as she confronted they’re leader.

Sedek looked a bit softly at her and nodded.
“Go home now, Mink. You are safe, I promise.”
Mink looked at Abyss, who had to smile a bit, seeing how curious and cute she was when she stood all alone out from the crowd and dared to find out the truth. She just took one last look at him, before she nodded at Sedek and turned to run home. The crowd started to loosen up and everyone talked to each other with low voices as they gazed at the group and headed home for the night, still a bit stirred up after the whole happening.
Hauk didn’t dare to look up anymore as they followed Sedek back to the fort, Hauk and Abyss behind him and Falkefot two steps behind them again. He  could feel his chest ache so much so that he almost couldn’t breathe. He had never been so scared before. And even the comforting touch from the hybrid didn't help at all.
Now everything would be known... he couldn’t hide it anymore, or run... no more. The thought made him cry silent tears of shame as he followed his leader to what seemed to be the very end of his last pride and secure life with the hybrid.

-Part 2-

“Oh, good dragons,  what has happent?!”
Sheila Centher gasped as she saw the bruises in Hauks dirty face after the fight, and confronted him before Sedek could get them into his office. She touched his face gently to look at him. Hauk just wanted to disappear through the floor and into the dark.
“Have you been fighting again?”
“You can blame Falkefot for this, then...” did Abyss answer for Hauk, and looked serious at Sheila. They stood left outside in the big halls right in front  of Sedeks office. Sedek waited and held the door open. Falkefot had entered and placed himself next to one of the large windows inside the room with the back turned to them all. Sheila blinked at the hybrid with her lovely grey eyes.
“Oh my, so then I guess...” she lowered her face to look at Hauk, “ that he knows...?”
Hauk just peered embarrassed at her before he looked down and nodded softly and tried not to let the tears continue to stream. Sheila let his face go and turned fast to her husband and snarled furious.
“This is not acceptable! You cant let that evil person get away with this!”
“Sheila, please, calm down,” did Sedek answer fast, but she had already walked in to his office and towards Falkefot who just looked dark back at her with out turning is back to the queen.
“You! You should be ashamed! How can you treat your own son like this?! You have no idea how much I want to throw a curse on you right now!” did Sheila spit to him like a angry cat.
“Not to be rude to you, my Queen, but I already got a curse in that demon with wings...” did Falkefot growl low and looked at Abyss who entered the room, holding a paw on Hauks shoulder to guide him with him. Sheila looked shocked at him, furious and about to say something back, when Sedek grasped her arm and dragged her gently away from the dragonelf.
“Please, Sheila, let me handle this. I will let you know everything later. Why cant you take Mr. Ranmaru to the library while I talk to Hauk and Falkefot first. I will send for you when its time.”
“You better do something about this, dear husband, cuz if not, so help me gods...!” did Sheila snarl back, and turned to Abyss.
“I am not going no where.” Abyss held his paws on his lovers shoulders tight and gave them a narrowed look with his two toned eyes.
“Disrespect towards our leaders too, why I am not surprised?” Falkefot growled low to him, and made Sedek gave him a hard look.
“Keep your tone down, Falkefot!”
“As you wish, your Highness... But I tell you all that...”
“You will get your chance to talk when it gets your turn! Sit down and be silent! All of you!”
Sheila kept quiet, and just took a short gaze over them all, before she leaved the room and shut the door behind her.
Hauk looked after her softly, and wished she could be there too to support him. But he was glad the hybrid could stay. They sat down at the end of the large table, the small male with his larger companion on his right side, as Falkefot decided to keep a curtain distance to them both by placing himself on the other side of the table. Sedek didn’t sit down at all, and just looked at them with a dark frown as he rested his hands on his back. Hauk hated that look and didn’t dare to look up from the table. He froze, and his chin and mouth hurt.

“I really don’t know where to start, cuz this is something between you all as a family, that should be solved with out any help from the outside, but you have made it completely cleared for me with that episode outside that you need to end this right here and now, tonight!  I am not happy at all! As leader for this village is it sad for me to see how my people act like a bunch of sheep when another life form is in my territory! And to make that line more clear; Falkefot you disappoint me really! Do you actually think that I would let a demon enter our home just like that? If you think so then let me know!”
“I don’t think twice in your leader agility, my King,” did Falkefot answer low, ”But that demon has done something to that boy that makes him sick in the head!”
Abyss growled as he pointed at him, and showed his teeth quickly. Hauk just kept his head low all the time. Sedek raised a hand up towards the hybrid.
“Your turn will come, meanwhile keep quiet!” He looked at Falkefot again. “Could you explain yourself more deeper? I want to hear what he has done to Hauk that I, as his own friend and leader hasn’t seen myself...!”
“Their relationship is absurd! Its sick! I couth them in his own room, like two dogs on each other!”
“Really? How?”
“What more do you want me to say?! I tried to hold him on the right track all the time, to make him settle down and get a family like normal people would do, but this.... this... beast has made him to his own pet! Its disgusting!”
Abyss growled deep inside his chest in anger, but kept quiet as Sedek told him. When his turn did come, he would surely give them the truth. Hauk looked shocked at his sire with blank eyes and half open mouth, not sure how to respond to all the hard words.
“...Why do you even care...?! If its true that I am not your real son...?” did he ask low and soar.

Sedek kept a sigh inside him, as he sat down at the chair in front of the table and placed his elbows on the table. It hurt him to see how crushed Hauk was, since he was a close friend of him. But there was problems now that he could see they needed to talk about. To understand and make clear once and for all. He hold his focus on the case and looked at Falkefot as he made his voice more calm this time.
“Try to listen to me now, Falkefot. Listen and try to keep your anger away from what you really know already and what you are smart enough to understand, ok? First of all: is it true that you are not Hauks father?”
“Yes...”
“Tell us this, then. Let him know this, Falkefot. He has right to know!”
“Does it matter? His father was a dumbass just as he is...”
“Keep to what really matters, now! Tell us the truth!”
“You want the truth? Fine...!” Falkefot looked hard at Hauk and didn’t give the hybrid no attention while he talked.
“Your mother wanted a son, and she was always as stubborn as you has shown to be way too many times, so it affected the whole future for us after she had decided what she needed. As her husband I wanted to give her what she wanted, but after a while when she got pregnant, and when she gave birth to Sara, everything changed! She blamed me for not being man enough to make her a son, and though we tried more times... well it never happen. Our relationship was hard to keep in order, and though we was married, did she often go with other men! That was what she was to me in the end: a faithless whore! And when she got pregnant with a traveler of a dragonelf, did she finally get what she wanted all the time, with out knowing how it made problems for me and our only daughter. That’s when she got you...!” Falkefot spit his last words with a low tone of anger, and looked hard at him. Hauk kept quiet, looking both confused, shocked and frustrated at the same time.
“She got you, and finally she settled down, and tried to live the life we was suppose to live in the first place. I tried to forgive her, but you was there all the time, and did never let me how I failed for my own wife... and the traveler did no one see again. All I know is that his name was Beghens. And I saw him one time, and I still see his face every time I look at you, kid... You two are like two drops of water...In body and even the brain... he was not the smartest dragonelf your mother got the chance to screw...! We all see how that ended...!”

“......” Hauk blinked shocked. Abyss was just as surprised as him, but kept in his own mind, a tiny joy by the truth that Falkefot didn’t was Hauks real father. But still, all his hard words to his beloved mate, made him want to choke him with his own claws.
“I tried to keep it all a secret, keep the familyname pure and move on. You was a wild kid, always into trouble and shit... but in the end I thought I had made you man enough, being one of the Orlon warriors an all... until your and Saras mother... well, that’s when it all got wrong for us all...And now look how it has ended! You live with a animal! A beast!”
“He lived too many years with a true beast before I and he got together...!” did Abyss snarl quickly.
“Now, now...! Keep quiet, please! Falkefot, let me ask you something.” Sedek narrowed his eyes at the old dragonelf and got his eye contact.
“Despise Hauks nature, how we all know how he is, don’t you trust him enough to think that how ever he want to live, does he do it all in free will? Don’t you think he has that much of  intelligence that he choose how he wants to live freely?”
“...That breed he has ‘choused’ to live with is not one of us! And even worse: that’s a male!”
“Falkefot, let me tell you something about that: my own son, Ravn, he choused to live with another male too. I tried to talk to him, deny, treat, everything, but in the end Sheila opened my eyes to see how unhappy it made him. Ravn didn’t got happy again until he got the chance to be with Ulvrek... I didn’t like it at all, I still don’t like it at all, but I have made my precautions, and got to know Ulvrek better. In the end I do see that he takes care of my son, he respect him, they actually have a love for each other. I still see it as wrong, but I cant rule every one of my children’s life, Falkefot. Neither can you... even when it is just two in your family, and four in mine. Its the same. Our children has their own life to live. All we as parents do, is to give them birth, and prepare them for the world they will live in as long they must do. Our children are free individuals, just because we gave them their life, doesn’t mean that we own them.
If Hauk gets happy and wants to live with Abyss, so let him do so!”
“Its not NORMAL!” did Falkefot shout frustrated and hit his fists in the table with a hard thud. Hauk could feel Abyss one hand squeeze his own hand tight under the table. It made him feel safer. More confident in his decisions in front of them all.
“In this world, Falkefot, is not everything normal. You of all should know that...”

Sedek turned to Hauk suddenly and made him jump a bit in the chair.
“Hauk, do you want to live with Abyss as you tend to do now? Tell me the truth, I am not your enemy, I just want to know the truth so we can solve this like adults... You understand that, right? Do you want to live with Abyss?”
Hauk looked nervous at him and then at his sire... but when he turned his face to look at the hybrid, did it all disappear. He looked into his soft eyes and felt a warm feeling inside his chest. With tears in his eyes did he lower his gaze and managed to look at Sedek again.
“...Yes...Though I ... all the time... did know what you all would think of this...”
“You want to live with him? You do this out of free will, Hauk?”
“I never force him into anything,” did Abyss growl fast before Hauk could answer himself. Sedek gave him a frown and then returned to Hauk.
“Is this true, Hauk?”
“...Yes...” did he answer low and didn’t manage to look at him anymore.
“Look at me.” Sedek lifted his head by his rough deep voice. Hauk shivered low and swallowed hard.
“Tell me again.”
“Yes...”
Sedek nailed his green eyes into Hauks brown eye. He could feel the gaze burn all the way into his soul and felt naked and cold and weak. But finally did Sedek accept it, and sat back in the chair.
“Falkefot, I know my warriors good enough to tell that Hauk never lie to me. He tell me the truth. Then you have to accept it as we all must. Cuz in the end, Falkefot, he is not guilty in any of the things you have told him tonight. I want you two to get together and talk some other time, to get things clear, cuz I know you two, and I know that Hauk never would do anything wrong with free will, and I know that you never will live in rage more then what’s understandable. I also know Abyss this much now that I know he never would force any one to do something with out free will. And you, Falkefot, have to believe me when I say this! Can I trust that you will not try to harm them after this?”
Falkefot looked at his dead wife’s son for a long time. This time there was more a confused and sad look in his eyes then hate. Hauk blinked uncomfortable and reflected from looking down to meet his gaze. Abyss didn’t say nothing.
“... Why, Hauk...? Why...?” Falkefot asked him low. Hauk swallowed.
“... I... I never meant to... bring shame on you... never... I just... tried so long to make you proud. But in the end I guess I got lost in a way... but Abyss got me to understand myself better, and... he has never let me down or left me...”

He continued, soar in his voice and eyes. “I want to be with him, dad...I’m so tired of running from it all, tired of trying to make every one happy with me... I want to be happy myself too. Abyss respect me, he trust me and care... You remember how empty it got when mum died.... I am tired of feeling empty inside...Abyss has fought hard to get my trust, but he has deserved it damn much in the end. That’s enough for me... This is not me being stubborn, dad... I am not what you think either... I still like women’s, but I like Abyss more. You cant understand but we has been through so much together that I know him so good now, I really trust him... why cant you never trust me?”

“....” Falkefot looked quiet at him, with a stare as he had lost his battle for good, before he suddenly stood up from the chair and went for the door. Sedek didn’t call him back, but just saw him leave the room.
“Wait, I ju...!”
“Leave him alone,” did Sedek snap quickly to Hauk. “He need to be alone for a while and think over this... just let him make the next move from here...”
Hauk looked frustrated at his master, but Sedek just nodded.
“Trust me, Hauk. He will still be your father, even if he is not in nature.” Sedek rested a big hand on his naked shoulder and shaked him light.
“Go and clean yourself now. Try to rest and think over this. Its over now, no one will blame you for your wishes. If you want to live with Abyss, then its your choice... just promise that you never will keep something hidden from me again, ok? I am not your King, Hauk, I am your friend.”
“But...”
“Listen now, and go to clean yourself. Meanwhile, I want to have a short discussion with Abyss, if you please.” Sedek looked at the hybrid when he said his last words. Abyss nodded a bit confused back.
“...Ok...” Hauk stood tired up from the chair and kept his head low when he left the office quiet. Abyss looked hurt after him, eager to get back to him soon and give comfort.
But he had to wait. He sighed and turned to the dragonelf King....
