Since I cannot give it directly to Shadow-Walker-22 (www.deviantart.com/shadow-walk… ), here is the mask for watching.

I made the first mask in 2023 out of a mirrored half of my pencil drawing from the beginning of the 1980ies (see here www.deviantart.com/blege22/art… ), and filled it with own photos and / or some art drawn by me (digitally or traditionally and scanned). Now, for a change, I use AI pictures, so I took the other half of the pencil drawing and mirrored it to make a second basic form of a mask in GIMP. This way, it is easy for everybody to differentiate them from the other ones.

Really, I put in the same amount of work in these masks, since the editing process in GIMP is the same, no matter where the digital pictures come from.

This time, for designing the masks I was not flipping through the folders of my photos and digitalized artworks, but generated some frogs and other animals eyes as synthographies - i.e. pictures, that look like photographs, but are fully AI generated.

For the eyes of this mask I used the prompt 'close-up realistic eye of a black goat reflecting fire' in DreamUp with art style 'Photographic'

For the corpus of the mask, I used 'close-up glittering golden-green eye of a frog reflecting blossoms of water lilies' in DreamUp with art style 'Photographic'.

The golden rim of the masks of this edition I filled also with an AI outcome. It was one of the outcomes of DreamUp for the prompt 'Long shot of a large, finely chased gold plate', art style 'Photographic'.

All the AI outcomes are only edited by cutting them out for the mask, the eyes are two times the same picture, one of it mirrored vertically.

The generation of the sythographies with DreamUp and the editing of the mask with GIMP were all made in 2014.
