Awww. Gumball and Penny have to be one of the cutest couples out there. The Shell is still probably one of my favorite episodes for how supportive Gumball was of Penny through her low points and how quickly he understood her shapeshifting. I think that speaks volumes to how much he cared for her that he was able to so quickly understand something about her she didn't even seem to understand herself.
And that episode where he set her on a romantic scavenger hunt was great with the end scene where he is trying to make her angry but instead she just laughs until he explains why he did all that. That moment when she suddenly becomes a dragon screaming, "Are you insane?!" always makes me laugh. And her reaction when he's trying to play off that he didn't set up the giant fireworks show at the end. She seems upset but that little smile shows that she gets him and still cares.
