And I guess with this, I've officially started development! Usually it's probably a good idea to program the game before starting work on art assets, but I feel like I've got a solid enough idea for how the game's gonna look and play, and a solid enough concept that I can draw sprites AND learn to code the thing. I could be completely and horribly wrong, but we'll see how this plays out.

As for art style, I've ultimately decided to go with what I know. I'm getting tired of seeing pixels everywhere anyway, and hopefully this will help my game stand out a little more.
