Description some fan art of niko from the band button*masher. they rule indefinitley. i want to do a cool one of the whole band and stuff but it takes soooo freakin long and i started on brandon and it isnt goin so well.. if i dont get all that done at least you have this fine little peice to chew on for a while.

some suggestions from better pixel artists than i would be a appreciated. i want to start doing alot more pixel art and soon do a game if i can find someone to help with coding.

oh and i despise my computer more than anything in the world. i have to restrain myself from kicking the shit out of it and throwing it off a bridge. im not even exagerating. it crashed, i had to build the whole thing back up and now it fucking shuts off whenever it feels like, and has so many errors that come up every minute i cant even list them. its beyond my ability to repair now. maybe even beyond repair period.

I like it very much so - your style is pretty unique. The whole coloured outline bits on the inside and the black on the out. A hint as a fellow pixelartist is that on the hair.

I like the hair - but the edges are very straight and solid-ish. try to curve it more - What I do is I anti-alias on the inside - take the shade colour, and put it in any 2 pixels up - the corner of those pixels. Try looking at my latest addition to Devart. Print screen (Since you can't copy paste) and zoom in x8 to see what I mean.

But very good! I like it

I hope to see you as a risen star in the future!

well i have no idea what anti-alias means and i only have half an understanding of what you just said, but in comparison to yours (wich is awesome by the way) mine is much smaller and it makes it harder for me to put in curves and stuff. im new at this and probably have no idea what im talking about, but thanks for the input and the lovely complements!

Anti-aliasing is a technique used to smoothen out edges - It makes things look more blended.
You put your shade between the lightest colour, and the darkest, into the cureved part's creveces. It makes it look much nicer if you use it all over a piece.

Look into it sometime~
