Great piece! I like the top being lighter/brighter ... it gives it a greater sense of "roundness" if you know what I mean ... just my un-fractally-schooled opinion

Top of the sphere's a bit to bright and throws of the fractal slightly [maybe darken it a bit if you used Apo] but otherwise, it's well done

Could be a planet in some alternate reality galaxy or a microscopic shot of a virus. Either way it's pretty cool. I like the reds and purples. Very nice!

anyways.
the colors are amazing they vary slightly with dark and light but that gives it an awesome affect. the red kinda makes it look hot and the blue gives it a cooler look like underwater ice or the like
