Mothpaw yawned and stretched, licking her fur clean. It was early morning before the sun had even risen. The rest of the apprentices were still asleep. Mothpaw couldn't help but go to sleep and wake up early, she was so excited to do more training with Daisymask. The small she-cat padded out of the apprentice den and into the camp's clearing in front of the large twisted tree they called home, hoping to spot Daisymask. Mothpaw could see the sun beginning to rise, and the morning patrol was gathering.
It was a bit of a chilly morning and Mothpaw was cold and ready to start moving. She spotted her father Hawkstorm leaving the warrior's den with Voltagewish. Mothpaw remembered that Shalestep was in the nursery with Volt and Daisy's kits and beemed. She couldn't wait to visit the little beans again, hopefully later today. The camp was really starting to feel like home now that litters were being born in camp.
