Physical Appearance: A light orange-cream lioness with a brown gradient stripe down her back, darkening towards the tail. Light cream socks with white toes and brown-furred soles. A dark brown nose, light-cream ear fluff, muzzle, throat and belly, and thin light stripe along the bottom of her side, and a white patch in the center of her belly fluff.

Personality:
Appreciative: Rue is very grateful for all the things she has. She always thanks those who help her in any way.
Friendly: She's just an all around nice lion. She is all around pleasant and approachable.
Forgiving: This lion is easy to forgive. She may be wary around a cat who's wronged her, but she doesn't keep grudges or stew over bad thoughts for long.
Determined: She sets goals and goes after them! Or prey. She will go leaps and bounds to accomplish things she wants to do.
Impressionable: She can be easily persuaded into doing things in an effort to make others like her, for good or for ill. She is also very trusting.
Solitary: She loves her pride and social time when her nerves don't get the best of her, but this lion also really loves her time alone!
Aloof: Rue can be kind of air headed and stuck in her day dreaming. Sometimes one has to poke her out of it, or check in on her mid conversation to ensure she hasn't let her thoughts wander and is still listening!
Gullible: It is easy to lie to her or prank her. She will believe even the most crazy things if it comes from a pride member!
Nervous: She's a nervous girl. Cats of other prides make her wary, even if they are nice. She would never want to leave her own territory. She is intimidated by thunder, loud sudden noises, cliffs, surprises...
History:
Cub:
- Rue was found on the outskirts of the pride lands as a newborn beside her deceased mother and sibling by a pride scout.
- She was quickly brought into the pride and looked after, as she was an orphan. The scout concluded that the mother and sibling had died of exposure, as it had been a hot day in the dry season. No lion knows why they'd been out there.
- Rue grew up with a few other cubs, being looked after by the Pride's Cub Sitter.
- She loved to wrestle with the other cubs and even the adolescents and adults of the pride if they would let her.
- Even at an early age, she dreamed of being out on the grasslands and hunting. Rue would often practice with small stones or leaves to pounce and stalk.
- Rue found it somewhat nerve wracking to try and make new friends, as any young lion would. She did try her best, but often flustered. Her confidence sold herself short, and sometimes other lions read her as stand-offish or confusing because of it, despite her not meaning to.
- She enjoyed her alone time a lot. She loved to watch herds in the distance, analyze them and use the things she saw to mentally train herself for being a huntress one day.
- The lioness often was a bit sad or jealous at other lions with families. She knew this pride was like one big family, but she envied others with blood-ties. She wondered who her mother and father were more and more as she grew up. But of course, there would never be any answers.
- Some of the pride took a trip down to the water-hole during the rainy season and Rue learned she loved to swim! She enjoyed diving under the water and splashing about, though some of the adults shot her distasteful looks as they thought she was disturbing the peace for other lions and animals.
- Though a bit of a social outcast, this was Rue's home and pride for as long as she remembered, and her love of the land and lions that surrounded her only grew stronger as she became an individual.
- Ru rejoiced her 3rd birthday! Finally, she became a Junior Apprentice hunter! She wondered who she would pair up with to start her training. Hopefully some cat nice?
- Rudo meets Yuma and learns to swim with him . She has a lot of fun, and they even have a race!
- Rudo runs into Navia on the border, who is looking to join the Pridelands. Rudo is wary around her at first, but quickly gains her trust and hopes that the kindly younger lioness is able to join!
- She meets a cheetah named Buziba . Rudo had never met a cheetah before and was glad that he was nice. They even had a race in the end all the way back to pride rock!
- She meets a Usiku Lion named Kutu on the border of their two pridelands. She is shy at first, but he is charming and friendly enough to keep her interested. Rudo ends up following him to a vantage point nearby, up a hill in Usiku and they share a great view of the Tree of Life.
- Rudo helps out Usiku by cleaning up debris after the big storm . She is saddened, but is glad to be helping. She sees Kutu again briefly during this time.
- The lioness finds a small lizard during her trip back to her own pridelands after the storm. She assumes he got lost. The lizard is oddly friendly toward her and follows the lioness. She ends up letting the little reptile crawl up onto her back and adopts him as her companion.
- The earth turns cold, in a way Rudo has never experienced. Prey becomes scarce and she must work harder to help keep her pride fed.
- She wanders off again for a walk alone after a long time of not doing so due to the busyness of hunting in the cold weather. She meets Kutu at the border again. The two catch up and even share shelter in a nearby cave within Usiku territory. Kutu confesses romantic feelings toward her, and she realizes she feels the same...
- Rudo realizes she hasn't seen Buziba in a long while, and can't even scent him anywhere when hunting or exploring. She hopes that wherever he went, the cheetah is at peace.
- Kutu joins the Pridelands! She is overjoyed and is happy to have him closer by his side.
- Rudo is stressed out about the war between the Pridelands and the Outlanders of Ardhi! She is too afraid to fight, but provides comfort for those who come back home after a battle and those who are sticking to home.
- Ardhi wins the war... Rudo is crushed. Her parental figures Kiara and Kovu are exiled and Kiara is left blind and injured. Prince Nyusa went missing and is presumed dead by many. Ardhi lions join the Pridelands, and their pride is forcibly renamed 'Wekunze'. Rudo spends a lot of time hiding away wherever she can and staying close to her mate.
- Rudo learns she is pregnant. She is very happy to have her own cub or cubs, however she is worried with how much turmoil her pride is in now.
- Ru learns some fighting moves from Kutu. She tries to keep up hunting and her new training in case she might need it for the future. Ru becomes able to stand up for herself a little more.
- Rudo is close to giving birth and doesn't let anyone but Kutu and anyone he trusts get near her.
- She gives birth to a single cub. She silently believes all of her stress has caused her body to only produce one offspring. She names her new daughter 'Hoop' meaning hope. Hoping to raise her cub happy and that one day they will be able to take back their pride. Hope for the future.
- Her daughter looks like a perfect mix of her and her mate. She fawns over Hoop and is very protective of her cub.
