As several others have noticed, the members of Cobra Unit and the emotions from Inside Out have several similarities. I decided to illustrate them in this poster.Time-lapse here .

I've been thinking about the very same idea ever since I watched Inside Out, only that I applied to the B&B Unit from MGS4 instead.
Laughing Octopus = Joy
Raging Raven = Anger
Crying Wolf = Sadness
Screaming Mantis = Fear
Liquid Ocelot = Disgust??? xD He seems to be disgusted of the world as it is in MGS universe and wanted to change it, after all. And he'd probably be the 'dominant' emotion controlling all the other emotions.

That makes sense since the B&B Unit are sort of an amalgamation of previous bosses: LO has laughter (The Joy), P90s (Solidus), and Octopus (Decoy Octopus); RR has rage (The Fury), explosives (Fatman), and Raven (Vulcan Raven), CW has sadness (The Sorrow), a railgun (Fortune), and Wolf (Sniper Wolf); SM has screaming (The Fear/Pain), knives (Vamp), and Mantis (Psycho Mantis).

I've hear my friends talk about Inside Out actually was inspired by Snake Eater. I told them you have confirmed that theory. Brilliant.
What's a good Metal Gear reference, I haven't seen Inside Out yet. Although I think a cigar would be more accurate if it is Big Boss. Whateves though, right?

Sure, guy. Don't worry, I mean, they did use Big Boss's face in Super Smash Brawl. And Snake's a clone from Big Boss, nuff said. I still like the design.
Hmm, actually, I don't know. Is it really necessary to emphasize a cigar? Again, your call. Unless you want to do a quick fix, alright.

I'm constantly tweaking this one - I'm thinking of touching it up and eventually making prints or something. The silhouette was a really quickly done vector doodle that I'd probably touch up anyway so maybe I'll swap in a cigar then.

Well, sure okay. If you still have some qualms about Big Boss's silhouette then I would suggest making the Cobras maybe a tiny bit smaller. Because if you want people to know that it's Big Boss, or at the very least Snake, then try extending a more visible bandana. I mean not everyone completely knows Snake, but those who've seen him can remember his fashion in bandanas, I think. How big are you going to make these copies? Mmm, I'd say go poster size for the canvas instead of making on copy paper.
Again, these are all suggestions. If they don't work in the long run...... Well, I guess you can blame me and I'll say, "Yeah, it was my bad. Sorry." I don't know, just a thought.
