Physical Description:
Pyke is a thickly-furred little cub with a long tail and stripes and spots dappling his pelt. He is a nice, cool-toned grey with a cream underbelly. He has thick fur around his neck, but likely will not grow a mane. He has dark, round ears with tiger spots in the middle, and one of his eyes is silver while the other is yellow. He's got a round build and is a little chubby. Perhaps most notably, Pyke has polydactyly, with 6 toes on his front two paws and 5 toes on his back right.

Sweet- “I made you this!”
Pyke always really does have the best intentions. Sometimes, he gets sidetracked, carried away, or a little too bitey, but he always starts out meaning we'll. He likes to be nice just to be nice, and tends to compliment others when given the chance. If he likes something, he'll say it. If he doesn't like something, he'll probably tell you he does anyways. He runs on ‘if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all’ which can make prolonged silence from him mildly worrying, because he’s likely either judging you super hard and doesn’t want to offend you, or he’s really upset himself and doesn’t wanna bring down the mood. He’s very socially aware like this, preferring to keep his feelings to himself in the aim of appeasing others.

Inquisitive- “What's what? What does it do? Why? Why? Why?”
Pyke is a curious little thing, always sticking his nose where it really doesn't belong. He probably just doesn't know any better, yet. But even if he did, he might do it anyways. Pi always seems to want to find out more, and has a thirst for knowledge. If Empire cats had libraries, he would spend all of his free time in there reading books, and then ranting about them to his siblings. As it is, he just has to pester everyone around him for more word of mouth stories until they tell him to scram.

Exploratory-
Pyke likes to explore new things, and is always happy to try something new! He even likes to play the villain in his siblings' games- but only so long as it's make believe. Pyke seeks out new experiences wherever he can, and, much like his sire, Hart, he has a bit of a restless soul. He tends to seek out change actively, which isn't great when you're trying to give your kid a stable upbringing. Pyke is a bit of a chaos magnet, and he seems to like it if only for the fact that it's different. Pyke absorbs stories and folklore like a little sponge.

Actor-
Pyke is a very expressive cub, and has a good handle on his emotions. He loves acting and playing a role he'd never take in reality. Making up stories is his favorite- especially when he gets to act them out and play as a character! He often tries to host little 'plays' among his siblings. He enjoys storytelling in a very theatrical sense. Pi definitely makes up voices for every character as he tells a story. Unfortunately, Pyke also tends to use this to mask his own emotions, not telling people when he’s upset by something or expressing his own discomfort. He’s a people pleaser by nature, and as a result tends to cover up his own distress with the aims of not making others uncomfortable.

Extra:
Tends to be a bit bitey. He just likes to chew and chomp on things. This will get worse when he's teething.

History:
Cubhood
Pyke was born to Mara and Hart in Ice Empire alongside Waverux and Kilyon. He was the result of a fling between the two. The two have plans to platonically coparent Pyke and his siblings. In addition to a be rather rough pregnancy, with Mara's apprehension and fear as to the cubs’ health, Kilyon is be born sickly. In the last few weeks Mara will take in Buckskin and Foxtrotter, two cubs left behind by their mother as she left Ice. Only around 2 weeks older, the two will be foster siblings to Pyke. Although they're rather chaotic at first, the family will hopefully settle down a bit during the first two months of the cubs’ lives. Or maybe not, considering Pyke at least seems happy in the chaos.
