Well, I figured out that, many members here have there blogs on Blogger/blogspot & dA's Pasties are a cool feature you can add to your blog, so here is a lil guideline, how you can make & add Pastie(s) to your (new) Blogger blogs!!Yes, there is a old tutorial somewhere here for pasties on blogger, but with the introduction of "new" Blogger driven blogs, it has become outdated & now it is quite easy to add pasties to your Blogger/blogspot a/cs, without having to edit any actual CSS Codes on your templates!!
So, follow the tut & let me know if you have any difficulty & I will try my best to help you!!
I also have a blog at Wordpress.com, but wordpress discards any external js & hence Pasties does not work on wordpress.com blogs!!

Very cool. Is it possible to change the background colour of the pastie at all without changing the b/g colour for all the other widgets on the blog?

hm don't know, maybe it is not possible cause it is a javascript.

Ohhh sorry, it's been ages since I tried that. I use Firefox, which is why I was a bit surprised when I couldn't get the code. Maybe it's something about my computer or settings or idk what. I'll try again now and see if it works

Wow, where do you live? Blogspot is banned is really surprising, it is a widely used blogging platform.
Try using Wordpress then, if it is not banned. Its good too!

and yaa of course, I know, I've already tried the Wordpress but it really seems not to support the Java scripts for the free blogs!!.. meaning that the Pasties won't work for WP!!..

When it was me to go into Blogger and configure the HTML/JavaScript.

Oh that is simple, Dashboard > Layout > In the Edit page elements click Add Gadget from there choose html/javascript, that is what already written on the tut!
