Description
This is my take on redesigning Mulan. I put her in Tang Dynasty type clothing since that is my favorite type of clothes. I am doing Cricket and Mushu also for my sisters for Fanime and AnimeExpo. Follow me on instagram for progress pics and stuff!~@elleferranis

I majored in Theater Design in college- designing sets, costumes and lighting for live theater. As such, I've been around costume design and construction and I have to say this is fantastic. Wonderful job.

Yea, same here. When I was a kid we didn't have toys so I was always drawing and making up stories and games. I gave into my parents constantly telling me to go do something medical but I wish I did something in fashion instead.

No reason you can't have a side line. I didn't follow through on theater- at the time, it was all volunteer in my state. So now I apply what I learned to my artwork.

Yea!~ I am actually going to start doing a small line of wedding dresses in a few months once I get back from my cons. I want to do evening wear but it's not as common I think so I am scared it will be to hard to get into.

Start small. Do what you feel comfortable with and when you're ready expand from there. That's the only way to make anything work.

I am a bit also. I noticed in the Beauty and the Beast they made Belle more smarter and do things on her own. I actually didn't like the remake of Beauty and the Beast for some reason though. I just remember being pretty bored of it even though I loved the original. I am hoping they do Mulan closer to the original also where she already knew how to fight, and her gender didn't bother the people around her much when they found out. The actress they hired might have some insight for them since I know in China they learn about Mulan. Also, I only seen the actress in Chinese dramas but I hope the live action Mulan isn't like a Chinese drama. The acting in those are kind of silly to me but I watch a lot of asian dramas so I am use to it. Either way, I still look forward to Mulan. She is a great Disney Princess but not majorly popular so I am happy they are giving her a live action.

I thought the remake was awful (ARGH! The autotune!) but it did make me want to watch the original again. So that's a plus? I loved the original too, I thought it was scary as a kid, but as I got older I loved it more and more. I really relate to Belle, we're both outcasted nerds! And even though Mulan isn't technically a Disney princess, she is one of my favorites!

Yea, the singing kind of sounded robotic when she sang and normally I am not good at picking up autotune so it was pretty bad. And Mulan is actually a Disney princess although she isn't royalty in the movies. Disney coronated her for her act of bravery which is apparently another way of becoming a princess along with having their movie make a lot of money. I'm pretty sure it is the money thing though. lol

It was like watching Hatsune Miku and GLaDOS do karaoke, only they can actually sing! I think Mulan would make for a great Disney princess if she was ever one.
