RPing, stands for Role playing, I'm pretty sure.
I think you basically go onto forums, or make special pages to "role play" as a character, OC, etc.
Some people have Tumblrs where they "pretend" or role play as, say, Lelouch from Code Geass. They answer people's questions, and talk to followers, and post posts as if they were actually him.
There's special forums and sites where you can go on and role play as a character of your choice.
I think so, at least.
