Description

Building of the merchants' guild of Riga. The guild was called 'Brotherhood of the Blackheads' or 'Compagnie der Schwarzen Häupter'.
It was first erected in the 14th century by German merchants and bombed during the 2nd World War by the Germans. The ruins were demolished by the Soviets later on.
The building was rebuilt until 1999.

Das stimmt. Riga ist eine sehr schöne und dabei noch relativ kompakte Stadt.

empfehle auch eine HAnse(?) und Bischofsstädtchen Frauenburg, Frombork heute, wo der Nikolaus Copernicus seine Theorie gemessen und beschrieben hat. unweit von Riga,
man braucht kein London (auch mal Hanse gewesen) oder Niu Jork um was wirklich grosses zu entdecken.

Hm, Frombork scheint mir - nach kurzer Internetrecherche - auch sehr interessant.
