Iya , Magiking desainnya emang keren. Percampuran robot bertema sihir dengan sedikit unsur koboi ( Topinya )
Sejak Go- onger Meka Sentai sekarang desainnya pada aneh aneh dan kontroversial semua ( Walaupun masih ada juga yang keren sih ^^ )

Sentai yang desainnya paling bagus menurut ane dalam 10 tahun terakhir (post Go-Onger) itu Shinkenger (kompleks plus desainnya OK), sama yang paling terakhir menurut ane Kyoryuger.
Ane sih berharap ada sentai mecha yang desainnya lebih bagus daripada Magiking, biarpun kayaknya enggak mungkin juga kejadian mengingat Toei sama Bandainya aja sekarang begitu.....
Magiking soal design ini tiernya sih menurut saya udah epic, sama kayak GaoIcarusnya Gaoranger juga Daikaioh-nya Shinkenger.
Kalo mau mecha animal yang bagus, Gaoranger. Kalo serangga Hurricanger, kalo dinosaurus Abaranger, kalo vehicle Boukenger.

I feel the same way- MagiKing was thee pinacle of Super Sentai combining robos. After that, they moved further and further into gimmicks, and sacrificing molded details and transformation complexity while at the same time increasing in price.

Agreed. I'd like to rant A LOT with this comment.
Everything went downhill in terms of Mecha design in Sentai since Go-Onger, with its weird vehicle with cartoony eyes. Shinkenger was one exception in this case. It has both complexity in transformation, but still have good-looking design. In fact, iot was the last Sentai which design and transformation impressed me at the same time. Goseiger well.... it's just meh for me. I don't like the idea for having blocky vehicles with detachable animal heads, but the combined form (Gosei Great) is still okay. Gokaiger was another exception. The Gokai-Oh itself was good for standalone, but just can't stand it's power ups (Magidragon, Patstriker), with the Gaolion being the exception.
Go-Busters tells us how sometimes complexity can be annoying. Its mecha was waayyy to complex that it destroys the looking of the mecha itself. Kyoryuger, THIS IS HOW THE WAY THEY SHOULD IMPLEMENT THE COLLECTIBLE GIMMICKS INTO THE MECHA. It was simple and a bit blocky, but they did the job well on implementing simplicity and collectible gimmicks into the mecha. It is so far the last series that impresses me on its mecha in terms of design.
ToQger, i just finished the series last week. Even though the story is good, but the mecha is terribly awful. It has the worst mecha design so far in my opinion. The final combined form, ToQ Rainbow was far more awful than the main mecha itself. None of the combination really works for me, even though the 6th ranger's mecha was done better. Ninninger is still better than ToQger though, but still it can't impress me that much. Zyuohger... I don't give much comment, it is in par with ToQger in terms of mecha design, even the toy is much more awful as all you had to do with the toy is just stacking cubes 1-2-3 and so ever then insert the giant sword thing to form the head. None of the creativity implemented in this thing...
The latest Kyuuranger, I heard the mecha has improved much since the last 3 series, but still it can't impress me that much.
Lastly, if they want to make animal mechs, they should take example on how they did Gaoranger. It was the series with the best animal mecha design for me, and the most realistic looking of all, and the combination forms is just working and good-looking. None beats the majestic looking of GaoIcarus (Isis Megazord) until now in my opinion, as this Magiking is just being in par for being majestic in looking. Or if they want to make insect mechas, they should look on how they did the Gouraigers' mecha on Hurricanger. If they want to make dinosaur mechas, they should look on how they did the dinosaur mechs on Abaranger. It has the most realistic looking dinosaur and every combinations are just working well. And, if they had to deal with vehicle mechs, they should take example on how they did Boukenger's mechas. Boukenger is the series which has the best vehicle designs, all combinations are just working and good-looking as well.
