Given only a cursory look the hound appears to be an obnoxiously positive and laid-back person. Without a care and lacking the seriousness one would expect of someone expected to train and fight. Almost always wearing an easy smile and willing to chat or act the clown. It isn't entirely an act but it is a bit of a mask; worn for his own benefit as much as to hide from others. A mask adopted to fool himself as much as others. While all the same he is still a very friendly and sweet person, he hides a more intelligent and potentially cruel side to himself. He keeps very few true loyalties, but those he keeps he's fiercely protective of. Reckless wit and limitless courage is a weapon he utilizes. One would think him impulsive and would be wrong. Even tactless or dangerous decisions made tend to have purpose. Survival is something he clings to desperately.

Born to a couple belonging to little no-name houses that fell or were cannibalized long before Pascal reached adult hood, he lived much of his life as an orphan. His parents had died when he was young and his sole mementos a single photo and his parent's rings. Without the photo he would likely not have been able to tell you what they looked like. When he reached of age he began his military training and did so happily. It gave him purpose and he found that he rather enjoyed it in an odd sort of way. When he was in his mid teens he was picked up by the Flanagan House's Nessa. The house wasn't much. A mess. A fixer upper but he'd been happy to have someone interested enough in him to welcome him to any semblance of home. He never uttered a complaint.

Pascal is loyal to Nessa, and the house which has become much nicer since his first entering it. He's proud to have a home now and will do much anything to help the name of his new home.
