And I hate Clear Sky more than Tigerstar hated Firestar, because what guy steals two of hos brother's crushes... Abandons his son.. And then when that son comes back with a mate, STEAL THAT MATE?!

Thunder's only mate was Violet Dawn. Thunder loved Violet Dawn more then he could ever have loved Star Flower. It's Thunder's fault he got his 'heart broken' by assuming he and Star Flower were together. Would you rather Thunder in a one-sided relationship, where he wasn't loved, or have his heart broken?
And Gray Wing is happier with Turtle Tail and Slate than he would have ever been with Storm or Bright Stream. You want Gray Wing to be happy, right?Β

yAA definitely!! they didn't make her too much of a wonder woman-esque independent but they also didn't make her turtle tail or wind runner which is v good!

and then after she was crushed he was like.. hey.... son that i rejected and cast away................ that's a cute friend u have there.

I really like Gray Wing, but I have to admit, the way he treated Turtle Tail when she went to live with Bumble kinda irked me. There was even this one character, I believe it was Jackdaw's Cry? who told him he was literally blind for not noticing that she was crushing on him big time. I don't know, I just kinda cringed every time he said something insensitive.
I'm only halfway through the second book though, so I don't know all the spoilers yet xD I've read some things on the wiki, but I plan to spoil as little as possible for the fifth series.
I spoiled a lot for the third and fourth, and I definitely noticed that the plot twists didn't have the effect I would've liked. Still liked the books though.

Totally agree there. When I was reading it, I was like "No Erins, that's a big no no." Then, when I saw Turtle Tail was talking strangely to Gray Wing in the next book, I knew what was coming ;-; Still need to finish the second book, I've been on it for awhile now Dx
