Description
The product of several weeks of slave labour in my art class, I am finally proud to being you this stunning fellow. The Arbiter of the Covenant Elite, a race of aliens in the popular Halo series of games. He's toting an Energy Sword and is ready and rearin' for battle.Though the scanner literally raped this. I'm still very pleased to be showing this off. xD The top half of him alone took 3 classes.

Oh god yes, soooo tough. But I figured I'd only get the kind of look I wanted if I sketched out all the intricate bits.

I know, not that Arbiter, but there might have been another one. And besides, Thel 'Vadam could still be in the game in the role of whatever he was, Shipmaster of the Fleet of ... hm, something, wasn't it? I'll have to look that up now, lol.
Ah, The Fleet of Particular Justice. It's his voice and demeanour I'm missing, not so much his clothes, so him in the role of a Shipmaster Zealot would be nice too.

Yes, that would be so great, we need to know more about his persona, his character and his earlier life. We simply need more Elite characterization, period.

In my opinion they're a far more interesting soldier then the Spartans based on the fact that they're born into a warrior-based culture. Spartans are just super-augmented humans with lots of training(still cool, but I like aliens better)

Yes, that's exacly the reason why I love them too. I've always had a love for aliens and their culture and these guys are the best and most fascinating I've come across so far. And there is so much honour and ritual with the Elites, and we should not forget that they were as much victims of the human-Covenant war as we were.
I just love the way the Arbiter acts after the civil war, how he chooses to side with us humans and fight by our side, even when his fellow Elites and even the Shipmaster, Rtas, asks him to join them. That's a true hero to me.

Altogether just an awesome and interesting race, I wanna get to know them on a far deeper level. I might start drawing and looking into the Sangheili again a bit more.

Yes, that's what I've been trying to do myself, understanding them on a deeper level. Still, what happened when I tried doing that is, well, pretty obvious in my gallery here on DA.
But I have much more serious ideas about them as well, of course.

I have a few elite OCs. There Lfto 'Lowul and her daughter Erto. That are werewolf but Lfto is trap in her werewolf form become she was bit and then she had Erto same year later and Erto can go from werewolf to elite.

Lol, that's impressive. Tell you right now, I'm doing a HALO chibi drawing for a tee shirt on my redbubble, and it is so hard to make a chibi even look remotely like the Arbiter and Master Chief. Urgh! Difficult~ lol
