Maaaaan. i met an old guy once at a convention. He was maybe in his fifties, and he told me he was still working on getting the perfect character design before he started his comic.

Oh its not up on DA! XD ..theres files on my computer [its some big thing, that im drawing slowly and as well as I can, haha]

i've attempted one paper thing when i was 13- i managed to get like 20 odd pages out of that.. but sorta stopped after a while. i suppose completing things is so much harder when you're younger too.[At least it's easier to do a whole picture now.] I also had some old webcomic thing going on about my friends' characters, That didnt end up going anywhere cause of plotlines and stuff. But this current one has a plotline.. [sort of] XD it'll just be done very slowly [slower then lackadaisy- if youre watching that one XD]

I have to bend rule #1 D=. I have exams. XD; rule #0 - Do exams before Webcomics!

...........oh dear goodness! that makes me worried! *imagines a WHOLE lifetime worth of trying to get this webcomic working* O__O i will die poor D=
I sure hope he only just started and this wasnt a life project of his!

I found if you take small chunks as opposed to doing everything in one-shot, it's doable. I also got a massive story and kept thinking 'this is impossible!' But after some advice from Cari, I realized I can do it in some chunks.

It's tough battling between comics and other things, but believe me, it's worth it. Every year I promised myself to work on my comic but had nothing to show for it. Then, last year, I said 'fuck it' and made a small 5-page comic. I felt like I took a big step and am very proud of myself. Now, I'll be doing another short story during my Spring Break.

Sometimes, you just gotta do it, even if it ain't perfect. When Cari told me about that 50-year-old man I realized, in horror, that could be me.

Yea that scares me a bit! When summer comes [i'm lucky enough to have earlier exams then others,- and only one 'revising' subject] so once my coursework is over with i only have to revise for german. so i have almost 3 months of summer; all the time otherwise to draw whatever I want!~ i am certainly gonna go right onto my comic! no doubt about that

im thinking further into plotlines right now[at least early ones.. im not sure exactly how the rest will turn out] so that when it is summer i can just get to drawing it, and not waste time thinking about whats gonna happen in it XD <3 i actually cant wait

but you gave me good advice there, to think of it in small chunks,-and do it in small chunks, rather then the whole thing, i should do that! ..thats very good advice indeed!

I sure hope were both not gonna be the 50 year old person trying a webcomic! D= ...or if we are i hope we'd have made a good few completed ones by then =S

Thanks for the compliment on the environments! That was sort of my goal, to practice urban settings and angles while not buggering up Toilet Genie with my practicing. T_T

I know. The book made me think they were such a fantastic duo though. Brain and brawn. Maybe Faramir taught Boromir how to make it, but Faramir would never have made it himself and he would certainly never have leapt off a cliff with it and actually flown.
