Description As you can see, I've just pulled off a massive Captain America artspam in lieu with my follower milestone event over at Tumblr.

This one right here is the first of the nine artworks that I've made... And this one features Ultimate Captain America, but wearing his World War II uniform. I thought why not to give this attire a shot, so that means this is my first try on drawing Ults Cap in his WWII Uniform.

This Cap looks a little "pretty", but other than that this is pretty good. Well done, and I'm always a sucker for WW2 and a sucker for Cap. So, this is like a double whammy.

I'm quite "cursed" with an anime style... Ehe, I'm even trying to grow out of it; but then again... What I've adapted to, can be quite hard to get out of.

But still, thank you for the comment. Also, I'm glad I scored a Double Whammy!

Well, I'm not an artist so I don't know any official art tips, but what if you just practice drawing faces and bodies and proportions? Not only that, but practice drawing fucked up faces, and flawed bodies, since those don't usually appear in most anime or mangas. (Some do, but not the really popular ones.)

Like, draw scars, draw faces that have been punched in the face a lot, draw bodies that are physically unfit, etc. That could help.

Alright, I shall study them and experiment on them.

After all practice makes perfect! Thank you for your insight. I should divulge deeper in studying art even though I'm actually self-taught.

Being self taught is great, because it usually saves money. But there's no shame in paying attention to established artists, and learning how they do what they do. Even if you decide not to do what they do, it's still good to learn.
