I've been in the mood to draw a Fire Emblem character lately; and this one comes from Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia / Gaiden. I have her in one of my Cavalry teams in Fire Emblem Heroes.She's none other Clive's beloved and also legendary knight, Mathilda!
I think she's worthy of an artwork because she's impressing me in Heroes. She had a very rough start though because she had +ATK/-DEF IV's meaning she hits hard, but she's quite fragile against physical enemies. On the other hand, she has high RES that's worth exploiting with Glacies, since I don't have any Iceberg fodder when I built her.
I ran her with a Firesweep Lance accompanied by Fury, Hit and Run and a Speed seal. The end result is Mathilda hitting hard and becoming untouchable whenever she attacks; and going back by one space allowing an ally to scoop her up with Reposition. If she runs low on health; it opens up Wings of Mercy from a fellow teammate; again Repositioning her out of danger. Fury also boosts her resistance stat so that means her Glacies will hurt a bit more. To make sure she'll further lay down the smackdown, I pair her with Cavalry units so she can benefit from the ridiculous buffing.
She's my next unit to promote to maximum rank since she impressed me during the previous Voting Gauntlet where I tested the build.
Also, apologies if her chestplate looked a bit wrong; I did the artwork right smack in the middle of the darkest hours of night.
